2024 | March Book Haul

Welcome to another wonderful book haul!

At the beginning of March I went to my local wal-mart and found numerous books that I have been wanting to read! If you all follow my blog, you’ll know, it is very rare for me to shop for books at retailers. I tend to shop more at used book stores, thriftbooks, and I shop for daily amazon deals in romance. But, It was my birthday and I felt like treating myself. It also has to be known, Mr. Man picked out two books for me… so if those two books don’t end up being good, I know who to blame! (haha) Seriously though, he does a great job at picking books for me. So I should love these two!

Anywho, let’s get started on this book haul!

Physical Books I added to my Shelf:

The first book I picked up is a copy of Torn by Carian Cole. I read this book a long time ago, and I’ve been wanting to add Carian Cole to my physical shelf for some time now. This cover was too gorgeous to just leave it on the shelf, so I took the opportunity that was given to me! I can’t wait to reread this one! The next two books are the books that Mr. Man picked out for me, Rhapsodic and A Strange Hymn by Laura Thalassa. I’m intrigued, and funny enough, Mr. Man read the blurb for A Strange Hymn and Immediately said “you should read this book”. After finding out this was the second book in the series, we searched the entire book aisle for the first book, came up empty and then found it randomly hidden behind several other books… So I guess I was meant to read these books. The next book I picked out was Dreamland by Nicholas Sparks. Okay, I get in these sappy read moods, and the only thing that can quench my mood is a nicholas sparks book. I do love this author, even though his story lines are a tad bit redundant… I’ll still read them. Next, I picked up a copy of Priest by Sierra Simone. I have the special edition paperback of books two and three, so I thought why not add the first book to my shelf… Lastly, I picked up The Wall Of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata! I’ve heard wonderful things about this author and this novel specificely! I can’t wait to see what all the hype is about!!

I think it’s safe to say, my shelves are starting to fill up this year. Hopefully I can read all of these books this spring/early summer seasons. Wish me luck!!
