Hanna Maysen has always been a stubborn one. Which led her to a career as a stewardess in another country. She lives her life by accomplishments and dreams. Which leads to her next mission in life. After finding out the man she’s been seeing is leading a double/triple life, she’s decided to swear off relationships and men for one single year. That is until she catches Walker St. James’ eye on one of her flights. She’s about to realize, Walker isn’t the kind of guy you walk away from or the type of guy that lets you walk away. When he sees something he wants, he fights for it… at all costs.
My Thoughts:
It comes as no surprise, I never want this series to end. As long as Aurora Rose Reynolds keeps pushing the BOOM, I’ll keep buying her happily ever after tales! Hanna Maysen’s story comes with not only romance and heart eyes, but also a cloud of suspense surrounding this tale. I loved Hanna’s independence and goal oriented mindframe. I loved the fact that she had this no-nonsense air about her. She reminded me of both her mother and father… the best of two spectacular characters.
Which made her being matched up with Walker St. James a true treat! Walker is an alphamale with a heart of gold. If you are a fan of instalove stories, you’ll definitely love this one. Walker works as a well known diver. He’s made a name for himself and loves what he does. I love the fact that he isn’t about to buy into Hanna’s single for a year mission. He makes it a mission of his very own to see to it that she never forgets about him. And in doing so, after their one night stand, he switches their phones. AHH, I knew what was coming and I laughed at this man’s desperation and motives.
I also loved the meeting between Trevor (Hanna’s dad) and Walker. I do wish, though, that their were more family moments in this novel. I wanted to feel that close family bond, also known as the Maysen Touch. So I dropped a half star because I wanted more Maysen time in this novel. I also dropped another half star on my rating because of the suspense/mystery aspect. Throughout the story there is an element of Who Did It. And sadly, I easily predicted the outcome. I wish the suspense element was a little more thought out or shrouded in darkness.
Overall, I adored Hanna and Walker’s happily ever after. I loved the romance aspect. I loved the protective vibes flowing from Walker and the stubborn independence coming from Hanna. These two were a match made in literary heaven. I just wanted a little bit more from the suspense aspect of the story. I can’t wait to see what will come of the Maysen family with ARR’s next tale. Like I said, I look forward to each and every romance within this series! I need more!!

I’m glad you enjoyed this one. I liked it. I wanted more of a connection between the characters, but it mostly worked for me.
