Hello, October!
It’s officially the season of bonfires, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and unfortunately everything Pumpkin Spice. Let’s be honest, how many people are still jumping on the pumpkin spice train? Me, I’m more of an apple pie/caramel girl. I can’t stand the taste of commercial pumpkin spice. I love homemade pumpkin seasoned with the brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. I’ll take the homemade and leave the commercial any day of the week. I’m embracing everything that is Autumn!

Paperback Reads:
I am not going to finish one of my 2023 reading goals, which is to read half of my unread physical books. But I’ll continue to try to make it count this year. This month, I plan to finish A Cruel Arrangement by Tijan and then jump into Lorelei James’ Corralled! If I like Corralled, I’ll move on with the Blacktop Cowboys series… If not, I have a few backups that I want to read before 2023 ends! The first being the Thoughtless Series: Kellan’s POV by S.C. Stephens and I also want to read The Gunslinger’s Guide To Avoiding Matrimony by Michelle McLean! I read the first novel in Michelle McLean’s Gunslinger series and loved it so much! I can’t wait to dive into this next book!

I love a good pumpkin scone. I also love pumpkin spice stuff, but my body doesn’t always agree. lol. I love apple as well. It’s a yummy season!
Yeah, I think that is the reasoning behind why I don’t really care for Pumpkin Spice. The stomach is not a fan.. Apple is my go to! I just made and canned some homemade apple jelly! It’s so good!
