WWW Wednesday | September 27th, 2023

If you are new, WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Each week we answer the three W’s. What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan on reading next?

Between reading, harvesting my garden, and the final 2023 house renovations before the autumn weather hits us… it’s been busy! This past week Mr. Man and I harvested my dads pear tree. From one single tree, we were able to walk away with over 350 pounds of pears. I also found some concord grapes that we thought had run its last course years ago… funny how grapes always have a way of coming back, almost, unnoticed. Mr. Man lived his tarzan dream, thank god for our Gorilla ladder, we found clumps of grapes hanging from tree limbs! We ended up picking the grapes and pruning the vines so they won’t grow in the trees next year. So hopefully that works!
In one day, I came home with 10 pounds of grapes, 350ish pounds of pears, and an old milk crate full of apples from my sisters tree. Now it’s time to cook, can, and/or freeze! I plan to make pear pie filling, pear cobbler filling, pear sauce, pear butter, christmas pears, and sliced and diced pears. Our pantry is going to be full for the next two or more years! I can’t wait to try new recipes. I also plan on making grape juice, grape jelly, and grape jam. Along with Apple Jelly! And that is what I’ll be doing for the next couple weeks.

I’m reading two books! My current kindle read is Until Trevor by Aurora Rose Reynolds. This is the second book in the Until Series, and I’m loving it this time around just as much as the last time I read it! I’ve decided to read and review this series before Until Hanna releases on November 17th! I can’t wait to get caught up in the wonderful world that is the Mayson Family! I’m also reading/listening too A Cruel Arrangement by Tijan. I have to say, I’m even more intrigued with this one, than I was with A Dirty Business! I can’t wait to jump back into this one.

I finished two books since my last WWW Wednesday post. The first was an advanced copy, Spill The Sweet Tea by Lyra Parish was a fun read. I definitely recommend it! I also finished Until November by Aurora Rose Reynolds. This book will always be a favorite of mine. No matter how many times I read it, I love it!

Next up on my reading list is Until Lilly and Until Nico by Aurora Rose Reynolds. I definitely see me finishing this series this week. It’s addicting! I also plan to pick up my early copy of Linger by Molly McAdams! I can’t wait to dive into all three of these novels!
