And now it’s time to add May to the months that have swiftly came and went in 2023.
Let’s see, May was a busy month for me. Mr. Man and I started the planning for future renovations on our house. I didn’t know how stressful it would be just choosing a new front door and side entrance door for the house. There are so many different options! We also planted our garden! It’s the biggest garden we have grown as a couple, I’m going to be a bit overwhelmed during harvest season. There is going to be a lot of canning, freezing, and dehydrating in my near future. But that’s okay, this is what I enjoy and why I moved back to the country.
With all the planning and planting, I found the time to finish four books. It’s not my greatest accomplishment, but I’ll take it how I can! So let’s get to these books!

May 2023 Favorite Read:
I thought my favorite read by the end of the month would have been Beautiful Disaster. Imagine my surprise when this book, in fact, came in second place to another! I’m just as shocked as you are. This month my favorite read was Kissing My Brother’s Bride by Molly McLain! I loved everything that went into this novel, from the chemistry to the emotion to the friendships/relationships. I couldn’t put this one down!
