Made For Us
Abigail
It was time to celebrate.
After all my hard work, I was graduating at the top of my class.
Our family vacation was the perfect chance to relax.
Until I saw him get on the plane and my plans went out the window.
Tristan’s everything I’ve always wanted but can never have.
One night was all we had together.
Now, I’m staring at the two pink lines wondering if I should even tell him.
Tristan
Six years ago, I was living for myself until I found out I had a two-year-old daughter.
Now, I love my life exactly how it is: me, my daughter and hockey.
Except—I’ve been in love with Abigail from afar for years.
She was the only one I trusted my daughter with.
One night with her is more than I deserve.
Now that I’ve had her, I know she was made for us.

Made For Us is the third book in the Made For Series by Natasha Madison. This book can be read as a standalone, but is best read within reading order.
Six years ago, Tristan was living life in the fast lane, until one night when everything came to a screeching halt. Finding out you are the father to a two year old daughter has the power to change a person’s mindset on whats truly important in life. Now, Tristan lives his life providing for his daughter. He has no time for distractions, and Abigail is the distraction of all distractions.
Abigail fell in love with Tristan the moment she saw how devoted he had become to the daughter he just met. But giving her dreams of becoming a registered nurse and her very own insecurities, she never acted on her feelings for Tristan.
Now, life is throwing the both of them a curveball when Tristan and his daughter are invited to come on Abigail’s family vacation. One night forces the two of them to confront their feelings for one another…. And that’s where I’m going to end this portion of my review…. If you read the trope information, you already know there is a surprise/secret pregnancy element to this one, so the blanks should be easy to fill in.
My Thoughts:
I have so much love for authors who incorporate strong family ties in their novels. This small fact always leaves me wanting more and leaves me looking forward to the next book coming within the series. Abigail’s family is made up of iconic hockey stars, so you know the testosterone is flowing through all the pages in this book/series. I love this element so damn much, but I especially love how the leading ladies give these men a run for their money! The men in this family are left with no choice! Whether it be their daughter, granddaughter, niece, mother, or strong family friend…. These women can absolutely hold their own within this family.
Let’s start with Abigail. Abigail is the daughter of Justin Stone and Caroline Woods. It has to be said, she had some of my absolute favorite scenes in this novel. I loved her quick wit and her resilience. She wants what she wants and nobody can tell her otherwise. So when she gets the unexpected knews that she is pregnant, she decides to keep it a secret for the fear of being rejected by the one man she loves. I’m going to say this one time. I adored Abigail, but I hated her mindset when it came to not wanting to tell the father, Tristan, he was going to be a daddy for fear of rejection…. WHAT! I don’t understand where this mindset of expecting the worst out of Tristan comes from. After all, this man dropped damn near everything in his life to be the best dad he could possibly be when he found out about his daughter… SO, to me it seems like she would automatically assume he’d do the same for her and her baby. I don’t understand the logic behind her choice… it didn’t fit the story and it didn’t fit Tristan’s character. And that is why I dropped a star on my rating for Made For Us.
Out of all the moments in this novel, I think the moments between Tristan and his daughter, Penelope, were my most favorite. This father/daughter duo were two peas in a pod. There was one moment, in particular, that had me laughing so hard I had to set my kindle to the side. This is definitely a single father romance that I won’t be forgetting anytime soon thanks to these two.
Overall, I loved everything from the heartwarming moments to the down-right dirty moments. I’m still a fan of Natasha Madison’s hockey romances, and in all honesty, I think I’ll always be a fan. I can’t wait to continue on with this world! Abigail’s twin sister, Gabriella’s story is next! I’m most anticipating this one!!! I can’t wait to get my hands on Made For Romeo!!!
