All The Truths is the second book in the Lies & Truths duet by Rina Kent. It has to be warned, this book is not a standalone. You must read All The Lies before diving into All the Truths. I’m also going to state, this review won’t be like my typical reviews. I want to avoid all huge spoilers at any and all costs. Obviously, you can’t review a suspenseful book without adding a few minor spoilers. 

Reina and Asher’s romance isn’t your typical storybook romance. This duet is full of twists that’ll have you scratching your head, thinking WTF is going on. I’ve found this is the typical stance for me when reading novels written by Rina Kent. She has a way of ripping that rug right out from under her reader’s feet. 

Okay, so I left a semi-vague prediction at the end of my review for All The Lies…. And It has to be said, I WAS RIGHT! For once in my reading Rina Kent challenge, I am right about a prediction!! And I was right in thinking if this prediction came to light, this ending would be epic!

I literally consumed each detail and every word! I’ll add one minor spoiler, because let’s face the facts, this book has been published for a couple years now and whoever wanted to read it has probably already read it. Think parent trap, with a sinister/mafia ties twist.

Overall, I loved Reina and Asher’s story. I loved uncovering the mystery elements and holding my breath throughout the suspense filled moments. I loved watching Asher and Reina grow closer, while also keeping one another an arms length apart. I loved the chemistry and I loved the connection between these two. I also loved seeing Reina turn into the woman she was always meant to be, and growing out of that shadow she had enhanced for herself. Most of all, I loved the drama and seeing Reina stand up for her self without destroying someone else in the process. It was awe-inspiring to watch this woman grow into a better version of her ‘actual’ self.

I can’t wait to see what Rina Kent has in store for me next! Every series/duet/standalone is a new surprise waiting to be unwrapped! I honestly, never know what I’ll get next and that’s the main reasoning behind why I keep coming back for more.
