New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Penelope Douglas delivers an unforgettable romance that toes the fine line between love and hate….

My name is Tate. He doesn’t call me that, though. He would never refer to me by a friendly nickname. No, he’ll barely even speak to me. But he still won’t leave me alone.

We were best friends once. Then he turned on me and made it his mission to ruin my life. I was humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got worse as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to stay out of his way. I even went away for a year just to avoid him.

But I’m done hiding from him now, and there’s no way I’ll allow him to ruin another year. He might not have changed, but I have. It’s time to fight back.

My Review

WOW! It has been quite a few years since I last read Bully by Penelope Douglas, and let’s just say, I loved it just as much as I did the first time.. and second time… as I did this time.

In My Own Words:

Tatum *Tate* Brandt and Jared Trent were once inseparable. Until Jared went away on vacation for three weeks and came back as a different person. A person who lived for revenge and sought to destroy the one who had it all. Tate’s life was never the same.

Now, a senior in high school, Tate has just returned from her year long stint in France and she’s come back a different person. She has decided to let her hatred toward Jared go and finally be free from his wrath… But Jared has other plans in mind where Tatum Brandt is concerned.

My Thoughts:

I don’t know what it is, but Penelope Douglas has a way with sinking her claws into her readers and grasping on tight until the final page. I find her writing style enamoring. Tate and Jared’s story was, by far, one of my favorite reads by her. Everything from the emotion right down tot he heart stopping drama was an obsession.

I can’t get over how much I loved Tate’s character. This woman has been put through and endless cycle of mental and emotional abuse by the hands of her very own best friend turned bully of a neighbor. And her senior year, she’s decided to let everything go and not give into Jared’s intimidation. I loved this stronger version of Tate. Watching her stand up for herself and giving exactly what was dished out to her was admirable. I loved her strength!

I also loved watching Jared’s walls fall down around him. I loved watching Tate get under his skin in those moments of redemption and reconciliation. And when Jared came clean with his past, I felt that at the bottom of my heart! And herein lies why I love Penelope Douglas’ writing so much! She has a way of pulling all the emotions from her readers. She brings in those epic *All The Feels* moments when we are least expecting them!

Overall, I loved Bully and I can’t wait to binge the rest of the Fall Away Series!
