ALL THE FEELS!!!! This is the exact reason why I will continue to support and read novels by A.L. Jackson!! Every damn time, she has me on the verge of tears….SO MANY TEARS, and so many feels. There were times I laughed, times I cried, and times I felt my heart swoon. Rhys and Maggie are a couple worthy of reading. Trust me when I say, you won’t be sorry for picking up this bad boy!!!!

Beneath The Stars is the fourth book in A.L. Jackson’s Falling Stars series. This rising country star is about to “FINALLY’ find his happily ever after…… in the arms of his best friend’s little sister!

Rhys Manning hasn’t had an easy life, and on his journey we see all his layers being pulled back making up the reasoning behind why this man is so guarded and scared to find love. Finding love in the arms of another would be the greatest grief of all. He can’t trust himself not to hurt the one he loves most. He has it in his mind, everything he touches will eventually fall apart.

All Maggie Fitzgerald wants out of life is a sense of normalcy. Given her very own tragic story, I think she deserves every normal moment she has coming to her. But life throws her another curveball and the horror we thought was over, is in fact not over. Maggie now has a new threat at her back….. And this threat, isn’t backing down. She wants a sense of safety, a sense of security, and she’s finally found that safety in the arms of country’s very own bad boy, Rhys Manning.

My Thoughts:

I’m amazed every damn time I finish a novel written by A.L. Jackson! I can’t help the goofy grin that crossed my face when I closed the book. A great love story is exactly what I needed in my life, and A.L. Jackson DELIVERED!!!!

But what makes this novel so special? Well for starters Rhys Manning has a pretty special background story. This man’s childhood didn’t start off on a bad note. He had two parents who showed him all the love the world could hold. He was raised to believe in people and never to judge based off looks. He was taught truth and he was taught right from wrong. He was taught to love with his whole heart, and that’s what he did. Until a curve ball was thrown in his life. Now I’m going to end it there due to spoilers. Just know, I feel like many people can find his backstory relatable. It’s crazy to think one second is all it takes to completely destroy everything you have in life. One Crazy Second. A.L. Jackson deserves all my tears, and I’ll proudly hand them over!

Another reason why this novel is so special is due to Maggie Fitzgerald. This woman is the perfect example of how a person can rise above tragedy. If you read the previous three books in the series, you know what I’m talking about. This woman lost everything at a young age. And what she thought was a precious world turned dark, very quickly. Now she’s decided to turn to strength and fit a battle that she’s no doubt going to win. She’s no longer going to let people kick her when she’s down or continue to push her around. There is no doubt about it, this woman is a warrior and she’ll beat down anyone who threatens to take her happiness away. It has to be said, I loved the building strength that lingered beneath the surface of this character. I loved how she decided to go for what she wanted, even if she knew what she wanted would leave her heartbroken in the end.

Rhys and Maggie are a match made in heaven! They both have their strengths and their weaknesses. I felt, through time, they helped each other become better individuals. They helped each other through the rough times and just allowed one another to be, to breath fresh air, to laugh, to cry. They were exactly what one another needed. Maggie and Rhys are perfectly flawed, and absolutely…human.

It also has to be said, I loved the suspenseful vibes throughout this novel. I was constantly guessing and coming out wrong every damn time! My heart was swept away with this one. Rhys and Maggie are swoony, sweet, suspenseful, and undeniably sexy as sin!

Overall, Beneath The Stars pulled at all my heartstrings and kept me on the edge of my seat. Never a dull moment! If you’re looking for a forbidden tale between a little sister and her brother’s best friend who is slightly older and a hot as hell member of Carolina George (A Country Band), look no further and pick up Beneath The Stars!!!! You won’t be sorry!!
