Traction (The Driven World)

I’ve been trying to keep up on my advanced copies, so no matter how much I want to pick up The Goal by Elle Kennedy and keep reading it, I have to set it to the side so I can continue to focus on the few arcs I still have left on my tbr list. Right now, I’m still currently reading Traction by Dani Rene. It have been a crazy year for me mentally, I’ve found myself falling in and out of reading funks and what I’m in the mood to read at that moment in time. I’ve been excited to pick this one back up and give it a full hearted read.

The Not-Outcast

I also started reading an advanced copy of The Not-Outcast by TIJAN!!! What can I say, when a TIJAN arc shows up on my kindle, everything else is pushed to the side and my productive day is spent bingeing on all her words! It never fails, she sweeps me up and away every damn time. I’m addicted to her storytelling! I’m only a few chapters in and I’m already dying to read more!!

Since my last WWW Wednesday post, I finished two books.

Come What May

The first advanced copy I finished was Come What May by LK Farlow. This one has all the tropes I am a new fan too! It had a single dad romance and it also incorporated an age gap romance to the mix. So in the past, LK Farlow has been a hit or miss for me. I love her ability to tell a great romance, but the execution needs a little work. With this novel, I felt the story was sincere, swoony, and sweet but the chemistry and connection between the characters was lacking the promise I was looking for. I needed a bit more emotion from the characters. Trust me when I say, I wanted to love this one, but sadly, it was just a like for me.

Make Me Yours (Bellamy Creek, #2)

And last but not least, I finished my advanced copy of Make Me Yours (Bellamy Creek Series, #2) by Melanie Harlow!!! Okay, let me be honest, I’m going to be a bit biased and state one of the main factors why I love this author so much is because the majority of her novels take place in the beautiful state of MICHIGAN!!! I love the gorgeous representation she gives to this state. Now onto the book… I loved Cole and Cheyenne’s romance! This one also has a couple tropes that I find really enjoyable. First off the swoony take on the older brother’s best friend trope and then you add that this man is also a single father/widower and I was a goner! My heart is happy after reading this novel!! I’m currently working on my review
