Top Ten Tuesday ➛ Books That Give Off Summer Vibes

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week is a new bookish category in which we get to brag about our favorite books that fit with the week’s category. You can pick your top 5, 10, 15…or so on. I tend to keep my list to ten!

Today’s category:
Books that Give Off Summer Vibes (or winter if you live in the southern hemisphere)

When I think about summer a few things come to mind. I think about barbecues, bonfires, mud bogs, and outdoor music festivals. I think about road trips, camping with the family, and cheering my favorite baseball team on. I think about night swimming and hanging a lantern from a bridge and river fishing for crappie at night. But mostly I think about laying a blanket on a fresh cut lawn, spending the day relaxing in the sun and reading my favorite books.

Here are a few books that give me those summer time vibes.

Seconds Regular

The Edge Of Never Series
By: J.A. Redmerski

I read this duet a few summers back. This series was the result of me not realizing the time and the day ending with a horrible sunburn. I was swept away with Camryn and Andrew’s angsty romance. Their’s was such a beautiful story. I loved every bit of it.

The Vincent Boys Series
By: Abbi Glines

Here’s another angsty treat I recommend to all romance lovers. I first read this duet in April 2015. It takes place during the summer and has a slight forbidden vibe to it along with a juicy love triangle.

The Game Series
By: J. Sterling

Of course this wouldn’t be a summer time recommendation list without throwing in a few baseball novels. One series I highly recommend is The Game Series by J. Sterling. If you love baseball and angst, you are going to love this series! Jack and Cassie’s story is mixed with plenty emotions. One minute I wanted to smash my kindle, and the very next I was crying. But through all the ups and downs, I never stopped cheering these two on and I never stopped wanting their happily ever after.

Coming Home Series
By: Harper Sloan

And the last series/books I recommend is the Coming Home Series by Harper Sloan. Cowboy romances always make me think about summer time. Out of all the western/cowboy romances I’ve read, this one by Harper Sloan is one of my absolute favorites! Each book is a new adventure. And don’t ask me to choose a favorite, it’s damn near impossible. I love them all
