I’m currently 30% into an advanced copy of Southern Comfort (The Southern Series, #2) by Natasha Madison. So far, I’m intrigued. I am really enjoying the suspense filled vibe that comes with Olivia and Casey’s story.

Southern Comfort
(The Southern Series, #2)
By: Natasha Madison

Genre: Contemporary Romance/Suspense
Publisher: Indie
Release Date: April 14th, 2020

Blurb:

Buried secrets never stay hidden in the South.

Olivia
When you find out that your fiancé is arrested for swindling over ten million dollars from his clients, you do what any sane woman would do. You escape reality and go undercover, trading in your city-girl Louboutins for country-pumpkin cowboy boots.

It wasn’t a forever change—it was temporary. I only had to stay here until things back home got straightened out, or so I thought.

Casey

I was riding horses before I was walking, or at least that was what they told me. I always knew I would take over the family farm. It’s in my blood.

Country boy at heart, the minute I saw her dragging her luggage up the gravel driveway I knew she was out of my league.

I shouldn’t have started anything with her, because I knew she was just passing through.

I couldn’t stop it, I fell in love with her. Even though I knew, in the end, she would leave me.

Since my last WWW Wednesday post I finished three advanced copies!! I’m on a roll! The first arc I finished was Stealing Cinderella by A. Zavarelli. This cinderella retelling was a definite page turner. You can check out my full review HERE!

Stealing Cinderella
(The SInister Fairy Tales Collection)
By: A. Zavarelli

Genre: Dark Romance/Fairy Tale Retelling
Publisher: Indie
Publication Date: April 1st, 2020

Blurb:

Every royal has their dirty little secret. His was… me.

It should have been simple.

Go to the ball, meet the prince, and secure his patronage for my favorite charity.

But beneath the mask, the brooding beast of a man was not at all who I expected.

He was dark and intense and eerily quiet.

When I left, I could still feel the ghost of his touch branded into my skin.

He haunted my dreams, but I never expected to see him again.

Then he came for me.

And he took me.

And I learned that his darkness was a void I never could have conceived.

He’s the crown prince.

And, now, I’m his captive.

The second book I finished was Jane’s Team: A High School Reverse Harem Romance by Janie Marie. You can check out my full review HERE.

Jane’s Team
By: Janie Marie

Genre: Mature YA/NA
Trope: Reverse Harem
Publisher: Indie
Publication Date: April 2nd, 2020

Blurb:

When you’re in love with your best friend, life is complicated.

When he’s also your stepbrother, it’s a nightmare.

Jane’s apparently a magnet for chaos.

Because now she’s agreed to tutor her stepbrother’s enemy, and that sexy bad boy might have a thing for her. She might also love that a tingle surrounds her soul whenever he’s close.

Throw his two brothers into the mix, dangerous rivals looking to destroy every one of them, and parents controlling her love life. It’s safe to say she’s wandered into the apocalypse.

At least being torn between four hot guys isn’t the end of the world.

Just kidding. It totally is.

But they’ll all realize something.

Jane’s the ruler of her life. No one else.

Long live the queen . . . and her kings.

And last but not least, I just finished Steal You Away by Victoria Ashley! Colson made my heart swoon. I loved this skate board toting man! You can’t check out my full review HERE.

Steal You Away
By: Victoria Ashley

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Indie
Publication Date: April 7th, 2020

Blurb:

She belongs to my brother…

I’ve stood back for years watching Dax repeatedly screw things up with Kennedy, as if he doesn’t think anyone could ever swoop in and steal her away.

Breakup after breakup, they always end up back together, even though I’ve always had a thing for her. I’m tired of waiting. He had his chance.

I want mine.

When Dixie’s Alibi — her Grandmother’s bar — needs a new cook for the food truck, I jump at the opportunity, despite the fact that Kennedy Ward hates me. At least, she pretends she does. We both know she secretly wants me and always has.

One way or another, I will get her to finally admit it, even if it involves losing my brother. I plan to play dirty — real dirty — just like he did. This time I’m going to beat him at his own game. I wanted her first, and he knew that, but our age kept us apart.

Not anymore.

Now, I’m grown and ready to take what should’ve been mine to begin with.
