Holy Crows Feet!!!

I’ve been sitting on this review for a few days now, and honestly I still don’t know what in the hell I’m going to write. Usually I have an idea, but this book threw me for a loop. I’m absolutely speechless. My mind keeps going back to that cliffhanger!

My Thoughts:

Meghan March is a freaking rockstar at writing gripping novels that will have you on the edge of your seat! I’m often left speechless after reading her novels and it’s no surprise that Creole Kingpin has left me speechless.

Magnolia Maison is FIRE!!! I loved her sassiness and her independence. She doesn’t need a man to protect her and she’ll be damned if one tries to play the alphamale role when it comes to her. Long ago she learned that there is only one person she can depend on for protection and that person is herself. I loved her fire and her spunk. She played the anti-hero to perfection.

Moses Gaspard is a character who will not easily be forgotten. This man is a protector through and through. He knows what he wants and he’s willing to put in the effort to get what he wants. I loved the fact that the more Magnolia tried to push him away, the more Moses was reeled in.

These two ignited the pages of my kindle. Fire and Gasoline!!!

After that cliffhanger, I’m on the edge of my seat with anticipation for Madam Temptress! I have a love/hate relationship with cliffhangers. I love the fact that there is more to the story and I hate waiting for the more part. It’s bittersweet and with Meghan March’s cliffhangers, the bittersweet is magnified!! I’m already predicting the next book is going to be just as epic!!!
