But atlas, when the time came I still turned the page, expecting more….
Only to have the rug ripped right out from under my feet.
Meghan March has some of the most heart shredding cliffhangers I have ever read.
Now here I sit wondering what in the hell is going to happen next!!!

My Thoughts:
After reading House Of Scarlett, I can easily say, I am loving Gabe Legend and Scarlett Priest even more now!! These two are the epitome of what a book couple should be. They have their issues but when time gets tough, they sort their shit out and are there for one another. These two are the most badass coupledom has ever seen…. I have a feeling the badass vibes are only going to get stronger with the conclusion..
In HOS we are given a more endearing sight into Gabe’s characters. I loved this softer side of Gabe and I loved the more feisty side Scarlett showed. The character growth is compelling. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this couple.
I do have to say, my heart is still in my throat after that ending. Meghan March is well known for her sexy badass couples but she’s also known for her brutal cliffhangers. After reading House Of Scarlett, I can say with complete understanding, the cliffhanger brutality is at its strongest with this novel.
I was legit flipping pages trying to find more words only to realize… there was nothing left to read!
I’m embarrassed to admit, there were a few tears after finding I have to wait to see what happens next. So to say the cliffhanger is brutal would be an understatement…
I’m excited for what’s to come. This trilogy is based around the life of an ex underground fighter. I want to see some fighting and I have a strong feeling the next book is going to give me what I want! I can’t wait to see Gabe be his ultimate badass self in the ring… or the octagon, whichever comes first. I need to see this man fight and I need to see Scarlett be in the front row cheering her man on. The anticipation is killing me!!

That ending so made up for the not so crazy cliffhanger of the last one. I totally wasn’t expecting the way this book went and I loved it! I can’t wait for the next. Nice review!
Thank You! I agree this cliffhanger was much more Meghan March style than the last. I wasn’t expecting the book to end like that. I turned the page twice and double checked to make sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me. My love/hate relationship with cliffhangers is neverending.
I am so excited for the conclusion to Gabe and Scarlett’s story. It’s going to be epic!
