After a week of reading advanced copies, I’m about to dive back into Out Of Time by Beth Flynn. I am 45% into this story and I’m finally starting to get all of my questions answered I had when reading Nine Minutes. I am eager to start this one back up again. This novel is so unpredictable. You never know what’s going to happen next.

Out Of Time

Series: Nine Minutes Trilogy #2
Genre: MC Romance/Suspense

Publication Date: July 21st, 2015

RECOMMENDED FOR READERS 18 AND OLDER DUE TO STRONG LANGUAGE, SEXUAL SITUATIONS AND VIOLENCE.

This is Book 2 of 3 in the Nine Minutes Trilogy.

Out of Time is not a standalone novel. I highly recommend that you read my first novel, Nine Minutes, to be able to understand the background stories of the main characters. There are many twists and turns in both books that can best be connected if read consecutively.

Although I do answer the outstanding questions from Nine Minutes, there is more to this story, and some readers may consider it a cliffhanger. Other readers may be satisfied with the answers and the ending. Regardless of which category you fall into, I hope you enjoy the story.

They thought with his execution it would all be over.
They were wrong.

The leader of one of South Floridaโ€™s most notorious and brutal motorcycle gangs has been put to death by lethal injection. Days later, his family and friends should have been picking up the pieces, moving on. Instead, theyโ€™ve been catapulted into a world so twisted and dangerous even the most ruthless among them would be stunned to discover the tangled web of deception, not only on the dangerous streets of South Florida but all the way to the top.

In this gripping follow-up novel to Nine Minutes, Out of Time takes readers from the sun-drenched flatlands of 1950s Central Florida to the vivid tropical heat of Fort Lauderdale to the halls of Floridaโ€™s Death Row as we finally learn the gritty backstory of Jason โ€œGrizzโ€ Talbot and the secret he spent his life trying to conceal.

Not even Grizzโ€™s inner circle knows his full storyโ€”the tragedy that enveloped his early life, the surprise discovery that made him the governmentโ€™s most wanted and most feared, and the depths of his love for Ginny, the tenderhearted innocent heโ€™d once abducted and later made his wife.

Once Grizzโ€™s obsession and now the mother of his child, Ginny has spent years grieving the man sheโ€™d first resisted and then came to love. Now remarried to Tommy, a former member of the gang, the pair have spent more than a decade trying desperately to live a normal existence far from the violent, crime-ridden world theyโ€™d once carved out on the edge of the Florida Everglades. For Tommy, especially, the stakes are high. Desperately in love with Ginny for years, heโ€™s finally living his dream: married to the woman he never thought he could have. But even with the faรงade of normalcyโ€”thriving careers, two beautiful children, and a genuinely happy and loving marriageโ€”they canโ€™t seem to put the past behind them. Every time they turn around, another secret is revealed, unraveling the very bonds that hold them together.

And with Grizz finally put to death, now Ginny has learned secrets so dark, so evil sheโ€™s not even sure she can go on.

Will these secrets tear their love to pieces? And how far will Grizz go to protect what he still considers his, even from beyond the grave?

Since my last WWW Wednesday, I finished 4 advanced copies. The first is Violent Triumphs (White Monarch Series #3) by Jessica Hawkins. I really enjoyed the white monarch trilogy, but I have to say, I expected a little bit more from the ending. It was a tad bit predictable. My review will be posted soon.

Iโ€™ve become a queen to the forsaken, a leader to thieves, and the wife of a man who instills fear in all who cross his path. He was the husband I didnโ€™t want. Now, I canโ€™t fathom life without my king.

I shouldโ€™ve been ready for anything. Like the caterpillar that feeds on poison during metamorphosis, I was raised in the dangerous world of cartel crime. But nothing couldโ€™ve prepared me for Cristiano de la Rosa, his brotherโ€™s poison, or the Calavera cartel.

This is still a story about a love strong enough to topple households, unite enemies, and divide brothers. Resilient enough to bring down those who would try to destroy it . . . and selfless enough to make the ultimate sacrifice.

But I was warned, and so were you. Deathโ€™s day always comes.
This time, it will find what was once a caterpillar is now a butterflyโ€”and hell hath no fury like the White Monarch.

I also finished an advanced copy of Renegade by Chantal Fernando! Ah, I can’t even describe how much I love this authors writing style. Every single time she hooks me into a story.. Every single time! I loved Renegade and this MC world she’s created. I still miss the Wind Dragons MC though. My Review will be up soon.

Good girl Isabella wouldnโ€™t miss the birth of her sisterโ€™s baby for the world. So when her car breaks down and one of the bikers next door offers her a ride to Vegas, itโ€™s too tempting to pass up. Besides, she can think of worse travel conditions than wrapping her arms around Renny, otherwise known as Renegade.

Tall, dark and handsome, the man is pure sex on a Harley.

Between wild parties and rumbling motorcycles, living next to the Knights of Fury MC has always left Isabella curious, but after a night in Vegas, she gets a firsthand taste. Drinks in the club surrounded by burly bikers soon turns into a series of daring decisions, which donโ€™t seem so bad until she wakes up the next morning. Married. To Renny.

Could she be more of a clichรฉ?

Nothing complicates an annulment like lingering temptation, especially when Isabella and Renny give in to their need, putting their marriage where their mouths are. But as Isabella learns what outlaw life is really like, sheโ€™ll have to decide if sheโ€™s in love with a bikerโ€”or in over her head.

I also finished an advanced copy of In The Unlikely Event by L.J. Shen. I really liked this one and the way the story was told. However, I had a few issues with character chemistry. My review will be up soon.

From #1 Amazon Bestseller L.J. Shen comes a new, star-crossed lovers romance about loss, love, and meeting The One when you are too young to know how to keep them.

Sometimes you meet people who are out of this world, so you make them a part of yours.

A one-night stand born from vengeance in a foreign land.
An explosive chemistry neither of us could deny.
We signed a contract on the back of a Boarโ€™s Head Pub napkin that said if we ever met again, we would drop everything and be together.
Eight years and thousands of miles later, heโ€™s here.
In New York.
And heโ€™s Americaโ€™s music obsession.
The intangible Irish poet who brings record executives to their knees.
The blizzard in my perfect, unshaken snow globe.
Last time we spoke, he was a beggar with no intention of becoming a king.
But a king he became, and now Iโ€™m his servant.
Iโ€™m not the same broken princess Malachy Doherty put back together with his callused hands.
I have a career I love.
A boyfriend I adore.
An apartment, a roommate, a life.
I changed. He changed, too.
But Mal kept the napkin.
Question is, will I keep my word?

And, lastly, I just finished an advanced copy of Twist by Lucia Franco!!! OMG!!! I NEED MORE! This is a moment when I can truly say I HATE CLIFFHANGERS! WTF! My heart can’t possibly take any more.ย

      1. LOL! I cannot wait until you get to the end. You’re going to want to read the next book to get ALL of the answers.

BTW, did you know there are spin-off books, too? Anthony Bear is the first. Mimi has one. And then there’s another one she released this year. All are worth reading.
