I am currently reading Violent Triumphs (White Monarch Trilogy #3) by Jessica Hawkins. I’m currently 15% into this novel and I am loving it!!!! Natalia and Cristiano’s story is built on betrayal and catastrophe. I can’t get enough. I’m eager to find out how this story ends and if there will be a happily ever after.

Violent Triumphs

Series: White Monarch Trilogy #3
Genre: Romance
Publisher: Self Published
Release Date: November 12th, 2019

Blurb:

I’ve become a queen to the forsaken, a leader to thieves, and the wife of a man who instills fear in all who cross his path. He was the husband I didn’t want. Now, I can’t fathom life without my king.

I should’ve been ready for anything. Like the caterpillar that feeds on poison during metamorphosis, I was raised in the dangerous world of cartel crime. But nothing could’ve prepared me for Cristiano de la Rosa, his brother’s poison, or the Calavera cartel.

This is still a story about a love strong enough to topple households, unite enemies, and divide brothers. Resilient enough to bring down those who would try to destroy it . . . and selfless enough to make the ultimate sacrifice.

But I was warned, and so were you. Death’s day always comes.
This time, it will find what was once a caterpillar is now a butterfly—and hell hath no fury like the White Monarch.

This week I finished four advanced copies! The first novel I finished was Love You Now by M. Robinson! I absolutely loved the second part of Jackson and Harley’s story. For more of my thoughts on this novel check out my review.

Blurb:

I should have told her everything.

How much I loved her.
How much I’ve always loved her.
But I didn’t.
I couldn’t.
I just wasn’t made that way.

Instead… I claimed her.
Teased her.
Taunted her.
Worshipped her.
Until… I broke her.

My best friend.
My savior.
My girl.

From my mind to my heart, to every single bone in my body.
She owned me.
I was hers.

Every look.
Every kiss.
Every touch.
Every tear.

It was always her.

The only thing I feared more than losing her was forgetting her.
I hated how much I needed her.

She was mine.
Always and forever.

I hated her then.

But Harley Jameson was about to find out how much…

I LOVED her now.

The second advanced copy I finished was The Fall Of Legend (Legend Trilogy #1) by Meghan March. I can safely assume that this trilogy is going to be EPIC!!! For my thoughts check out my full review!

The Fall Of Legend

Genre: Romantic Suspense
Publisher: Self Published
Release Date: Nov. 12th, 2019

Blurb:

We come from two different worlds.
I’m from the streets. She might as well live in an ivory tower.
I made my living with my fists. I doubt she could even throw a punch.
Our paths never should have crossed.
We never should have met.
That doesn’t change the facts.
I would sell my soul to taste those red lips.
Fight the devil himself to hear her laugh.
Burn in hell to have a single night.
Scarlett Priest shouldn’t even know men like me exist, but sometimes temptation is stronger than will.
If this is how I go down, it’ll be worth every second of the fall.

I also finished an advanced copy of Insatiable (Cloverleigh Farms #3) by Melanie Harlow. This novel owns a piece of my heart!!! I can’t even come up with words to describe how much I loved Noah and Meg’s story. I’m currently working on my review so be on the lookout for it!

Blurb:

I didn’t mean to see him naked–it was an accident.
It had to be, right?
Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he’s always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. I never wanted to mess with that.
Until I walked in on him getting out of the shower and saw his hard, muscular body totally bare and dripping wet. At that moment I never wanted to mess with anything so badly in my entire life.
I should have covered my eyes. Said I was sorry. At the very least, I could have handed him a towel.
After all, I was only in town for a few days, and he was just doing me a favor by escorting me to my sister’s wedding. It wasn’t a real date.
But I didn’t apologize. And he didn’t cover up.
(Talk about a hot mess.)
After all those years of being just friends, suddenly we’re insatiable.
He’s made it clear he’s not interested in romance. Which is fine with me because
I’ve got a plane ticket back to my real life at the end of the week.
It’s all in fun…or is it?

And last but not least, I just finished an advanced copy of Sacrifice by N. Isabelle Blanco. Sacrifice is one of the novels releasing in the Sinister Fairy Tales Collection. This retelling is based on Hercules. I found this one to be just okay. I loved the story telling but the story itself didn’t grasp my attention. I do have to blame myself for that though, I’m not well versed on Greek Mythology so I had no clue who these characters are. Now if you are a fan of Hercules and Greek Mythology, and love your stories a little dark and twisted, I have a feeling you are going to love this one.

Megara

We all know the story.
How it ended.
He survived and conquered each task.
Became the hero of all heroes.
And in the end he became a legend.
What no one told you is that I was there. I was helping him . . . and when he ascended, I was left behind to rot.
Herakles never knew I sold my soul for his success—he didn’t need to. Had I been enough on my own, he would’ve chosen to stay.
Instead, he rose to full glory.
I was dragged straight to Hades.
Beaten.
Violated.
Broken.
Eventually, mutated.
I lost track of him for nearly three millennia, but I’ve found him.
I will kill him.
He chose to become a god; I was forced to become a nightmare.
Now it’s time for us to meet again.

Herakles

I abandoned my family mere moments before the Greek pantheon fell.
‘Till this day the whispers accuse me.
Had I been there, perhaps they could’ve been saved.
But I no longer gave a fuck.
Funny how vanity can blind a male to what really matters.
It took less than a year on Olympus before I began searching for her again.
I never found her.
Now, two-in-a-half-thousand years later, here I am.
Alone.
Empty.
An immortal ghost, simply getting by.
I should’ve never left her.
The only thing I had was hoping the last of her mortal days, wherever she ended up, were happy . . .
Joke’s on me.
A darkened, twisted version of my female returns, demanding my head for every one of my sins.
And she shall have it.
But first, I’m saving her from her curse.
I’ll sacrifice every ounce of my sanity left to free her . . . right before I let her end me once and for all.
