There are two little words every small-town man dreads:

She’s back.

Harper Sanders, the girl who was supposed to be my forever, has returned to Port Snow, Maine, for good—and she’s bringing back memories of our shared past.

We once had a bright future together, but when tragedy struck, I threw it all away and pushed her out of my life. People in our small town think I’m cursed, but I know better. I did it all to myself.

And now she’s creating a life of her own in the place where we first fell in love. I can’t fight my feelings for her—or the strong attraction that keeps pulling us together. But after all this time, can she forgive the past and fall in love with me all over again?

Everyone hopes to find that forever girl…I just hope I haven’t lost mine for good.

I went into this one completely blind and holy hell was this an emotional rollercoaster! Meghan Quinn has a way of turning the pages on all tropes. She brings life to her characters and makes the reader feel every single situation and emotion her characters feel. I can’t even begin to tell you how I felt reading That Forever Girl! I had a monumental, ALL THE FEELS, moment.

About The Forever Girl:

That Forever Girl is the second book in the Getting Lucky series by Meghan Quinn. This novel can also be read as a standalone and is told from Harper and Rogan’s point of view.

Rogan and Harper were the it couple growing up. Starting out as best friends when they were younger, their relationship slowly evolved into something more as they grew older. He’s your typical all american boy and she’s the typical small town sweetheart. They spend their days solving the Snow Vale Manor mistress mystery and their nights dreaming of the future and what college life together will be for them.

But some things don’t always go as planned. You see, a little trip to New Orleans to celebrate the youngest Knighty brother’s 21st birthday ends with a palm reader’s table being smashed and her unleashing a curse of broken love. Bringing the Knightly Brothers to their knees where love is concerned.

Seven years later, Harper is back in her hometown of Port Snow running away from a situation she should have never been involved in, and finds herself running towards a past that wound up obliterating her heart and crushing her dreams seven years ago. That past being Rogan Knightly.

Now Rogan has a chance of finally making things right with Harper and breaking the god forsaken curse that has landed him on his ass a time or two. But the only way to break the curse is too mature and grow into the man he is intended to be. And only then will Harper see him for the man she fell in love with in the beginning.

My Thoughts:

ALL THE FEELS!!!!
Monumental Love Story!
Harper is as Sweet As Pie!!
Rogan is Sexy As SIN!!!
That Forever Girl is the perfect novel for all the Second Chance Romance Lovers!

When I first picked up That Forever Girl, I didn’t know what to expect. All I knew at the time was, Meghan Quinn is a fantastic author and her writing style and humor always leaves me wanting more. I went into That Forever Girl with a blind eye. All I knew was this was a second chance romance that takes place in a small town, and from those two facts alone, I was sold.

Harper and Rogan’s story is full of so many ups and downs, and twists and turns. There were times my heart and my emotions had trouble keeping up. I was a complete mess, laughing so hard my ribs feel like they’re bruised one minute and sobbing uncontrollably the very next.

Overall, It’s going to be tough to top Rogan and Harper’s story. I loved how raw and real That Forever Girl felt. I also love how Meghan Quinn shows that not every romance story is hearts and rainbows, we all have our dark clouds and thunderstorm days. It’s those days that make us grow and appreciate the beauty in rainbows even more. That’s what I learned from Harper and Rogan’s story. Learn from the bad so you can appreciate the good fully. This was a great second chance romance and one that I highly recommend to all second chance lovers.
