Happy Wednesday and welcome back to another WWW Wednesday post! If you’re new to WWW Wednesday, this is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Each week we answer the three W’s.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you plan on reading next?

Let’s get started.

I’m Currently Reading:

EEK! I’m finally diving into my advanced copy of The Locker Room by Meghan Quinn! I am so freaking pumped to read more of this novel. I’m currently one chapter in and I’m already hooked!

The Locker Room
By: Meghan Quinn

Genre: New Adult Romance
Trope: Sports, Baseball Romance
Publisher: Self Published
Release Date: June 20th, 2019

Blurb:

Have you heard the rumor around campus about the locker room?

If you haven’t, let me enlighten you: Legend has it if you bring a girl into the sacred after-game domain of the baseball locker room, it will end with a walk down the aisle. One rowdy and naked encounter against the lockers with the girl of your dreams will make her your wife.

Translation: baseball players are stupidly superstitious and believe the locker room has magical powers.

But not all baseball players are superstitious, me included.

So when the girl I’ve fallen for brushes me off, I start to question if I need to switch my way of thinking. Maybe it’s time I finally hand out a coveted invitation to the locker room.

The only question is, will she accept?

I Recently Finished:

Since my last www wednesday post I finished 6 books!!! First on my finished list is Forever Mine by Kennedy Fox! This is a novella to start off the Roommates Duet series! I really enjoyed this sweet and sexy read. Savannah and Hayden’s second chance romance brought a smile to my lips and a tear to my eye. It was the perfect book to get you ready for Hunter and Lennon’s emotional story!

It’s been ten years.
He hasn’t stopped loving her for one second.

Seeing the woman who broke my heart a decade ago is something I’m not prepared for. Though I’ve forgiven Savannah, I’ve never forgotten what she did.

Now it’s time to confront the secret she’s kept from me. Though it won’t be easy, I’m determined to make things right between us.

One night together is all it takes for our feelings to come rushing back. As memories of us flood in, truths are finally revealed. When the present collides with our past, I’ll do anything to win her back, even when Savannah tries to run again.

This time, I’ll stop at nothing for a second chance.

The next book I finished was Baby Mine by Kennedy Fox! The first book to Hunter and Lennon’s story was literally my undoing! I cried so many tears while reading this emotionally gut wrenching story! I read reviews of people saying they ugly cried so I went in expecting a few tears, but to be honest, nothing could have prepared me for that tragedy! It’s going to be hard for Kennedy Fox to repair this broken heart.

I saw her first.
Blonde. Gorgeous. Feisty.
I was smitten.

But it didn’t matter because she chose him and he was my best friend and roommate. I’d never be able to compete with that, so I pushed her away instead. It was easy when she lived hours away, and I didn’t have to see her every day, but then she moved in with us.
Now, I’m screwed.

To her singing in the shower every morning, dancing in the kitchen while she makes coffee, and doing yoga in our living room, I can’t stop thinking about her in all the wrong ways. She’s not mine and never will be, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to push her against a wall and claim her mouth.

She’s constantly on me for making messes, bringing chicks home every weekend, and being a smartass when their PDA gets on my nerves. Considering neither of them know how I feel, it’s not fair for the way I act toward them. I should move out so I can get over her for good; however, the selfish part of me can’t let go.

And then the unthinkable happens…
When my best friend dies in a motorcycle accident, the two of us are left to grieve our loss together. Instead of pushing her away, I pull her closer.

Just as we come to terms with our new reality, she finds out she’s pregnant with his baby.
And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my life.

To say I was intrigued to dive into this next read would be a huge understatement! After finishing Baby Mine, there was no if’s, and’s, or but’s to what my next read would be. I also read Baby Yours by Kennedy Fox. Baby Yours is the second part to Hunter and Lennon’s emotional as hell story! Ah, I love a good happily ever after!

The worst day of my life happened when Brandon died.
We had our entire future mapped out.
Careers, marriage, kids—in that order.
Then the universe threw a curve ball and ended it all.

As I come to terms with everything, I learn I’m carrying his baby. Now I’m living with his roommate, the guy who’s made my life a living hell the past two years. Hunter’s now the one to hold me up when all I want to do is fall.

Knowing my religious parents will never accept the pregnancy out of wedlock, Hunter offers to be my fake husband. While I think he’s gone crazy, it’s the only plan that’ll keep them in my life. So I do whatever it takes to make our relationship believable—kissing, touching, even letting him hold me when we sleep. The lines are so blurred neither of us want to admit we’re no longer pretending.

The guilt of what we’re doing eats me alive as I struggle to deal with my emotions. I push him away, but he pulls me closer, showing me how he’s always felt.

Just as I begin to follow my heart, I learn Hunter’s been keeping secrets.
And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my life…

I also finished Trouble At Brayshaw High by Meagan Brandy. This is the second book in the Brayshaw High series and has been one of my most anticipated reads since the moment I put Boys Of Brayshaw High back on my shelf. Honestly, I loved this one way more than the first book. So much drama! Now I need the final book in my hands, especially given that cliffhanger! I need it now!

“You don’t belong.”

No words whispered in anger have ever rung more true.

They’re the Kings of Brayshaw with the world at their feet, destined for greatness and in need of control.
I’m the girl from the gutter with nothing to offer and as defiant as they come.

They say it doesn’t matter, that I’m one of them now, and nothing could ever change that. Not even me, should I dare try.

But they’re wrong.
They underestimate how far I’ll go to protect them.

Trouble is coming…and they have no idea.

*Trouble At Brayshaw High is the the highly anticipated follow up to Boys of Brayshaw High, and should be read only after having read book one. This is book two in a three book series.

Kindle Unlimited has been my best friend this week! I picked up Too Many by Alexa Riley and gave it a read. I was in the mood for a sexy short read, something I didn’t have to invest to much time or brain power in and this one’s blurb called out to me. I really enjoyed Elijan, Nellie, and Owen’s story. But my only issue, the same one that comes with every short story type novel I read, I wanted more. This was a fun read though.

Too Many
By: Alexa Riley

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Trope: Sexy short read!

Nellie has a desire so filthy she can’t say it out loud, but having two men at once was never on her radar until she met the twins. Now all she can think about is being sandwiched between Owen and Elijah. It’s all just a fantasy, because she could never have it in real life. Right?

Elijah and Owen have finally graduated college and are taking over the family business from their dad. The final step in creating the life they want is claiming Nellie. She’s the one they’ve been waiting on, and though she might be shy, they know she’s made to take them.

Warning: Can a woman really have too many men love her? We don’t think so! Grab the follow-up to Too Hard and find out if these three can find their happily ever after.

And last but not least, I just finished The Rebel Of Raleigh High by Callie Hart! This book had so many twists and turns that even I didn’t see coming, and I’m usually a predicting pro. I felt so much angst, so much heartbreak, and so much ANGER when reading this one. But I also felt redemption, vindication, and a raw love story. My heart was all over the place with this one!

Silver

Hit me.
Kick me.
Hurt me.
Hate me.

There’s nothing that the students of Raleigh High can do to Silver Parisi anymore. Over the past year, she’s had to endure more pain and suffering than most people are asked to bear in their lifetimes. She’s a pariah, an outcast, a ghost. She’s also never been one to take shit lying down, though…despite what half the football team might say.

With only one hundred and sixty-eight days left of the school year, it won’t be long until graduation, and Silver’s planning on skipping town and leaving Raleigh firmly in her rearview mirror…

Until he comes along…

Alex

Orphan.
Degenerate.
Reprobate.
Deviant.
Alex Moretti’s earned most of his labels, and he’s not ashamed of a single one of them. He’ll earn far worse before he’s finished with his new found ‘friends’ at Raleigh High. Having spent years being ground down under the boot heel of society, it’s time for a little payback. And if exacting revenge upon the heads of the Raleigh elite means he can also help the beautiful girl who hovers in the shadows, then that’s all for the better.

Oil and water. Fire and ice. The differences between Silver and Alex are broader than any chasm. To reach one another, they must take a leap of faith and fall into the divide.

And falling?

Nothing good ever came from falling.
