June 2019 TBR

There are so many books I want to read this month! So many books that I’m not sure if I’m going to have enough time to read them all. I’m making it my mission to read at least half of them. So let’s get started!

 

I am so excited to jump into Justified by Jay Crownover! This book sounds so good and I absolutely loved Unbroken which was the novella to start off the Loveless, Texas series! Oh my lord, that cover is smoldering. I can’t stop staring at it!

I’m also planning to read Alpha’s Promise by Rebecca Zanetti. I’m a little nervous due to this being the tenth book in a series but we shall see.

Once Upon A Bad Boy by Melonie Johnson looked so adorable. I couldn’t resist requesting a copy of this bad boy. That cover screams cuteness!!

 

All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover has been weighing heavily on my mind lately. This book is just too pretty to sit on my shelf going unread. Last month I picked this book up at my local used book store and I promised myself I would give it a read this month. What can I say. It was love at first cover sight. I can’t wait to read this one.

I received an Arc copy of Unbreak Me by Michelle Hazen! I’ve been trying to hold off on reading it until we get closer to the release date (August 13) but I can’t wait any longer! My patience is tested and I failed.

I also picked up Swing by Opal Carew last month at my local used book store. I read this one a few days ago and while I liked the premise and was intrigued by the swinging lifestyle, I hated the fact that there was little to almost no storyline. Too many sexy time scenes can make a book feel repetitive and that’s exactly what happened with this book.

I picked up Wild, Wicked, and Wanton by Jaci Burton last month at my local used book store as well! (hmmm maybe I should do a book haul after this.) I picked this book up because the cover screams sexy as hell. Then I read the blurb and that intrigued me even more. I can’t wait to pick this one up and see if it meets my expectations!

The Gamble by Kristen Ashley has been on way too many of my tbr posts to count. If I’m being honest, the size of this book scares the living daylights out of me. But this month I plan on jumping in head first. I love Kristen Ashley and she has yet to let me down so I have faith in saying, I’ll probably love this one just as much as her other novels.

I received a paperback copy of Luck Of The Draw by B.J. Daniels from Harlequin romance. What can I say, I absolutely love my cowboy romances. I can’t get enough and I found I’m wanting to read more romances with those strong country vibes.

Kennedy Fox has some of the most beautiful covers in the romance book world! I am absolutely in love with all of their covers but I think these are a few of my favorites. They just keep getting better and better! Anyways. I just started Forever Mine by Kennedy Fox, this is an introducer to the Roommate Duet Series. I am already loving this book and I’m only a few chapters in! I can’t even describe how happy I feel when I hold a Kennedy Fox book in my hands. THere is not a doubt in my mind that this series is going to be epic.

Baby Mine by Kennedy Fox is the first full length novel in the Roommates series, this is part 1 to Hunter and Lennon’s duet. I’ve been staying away from spoiler type reviews and it’s almost next to impossible not to get caught up in the hype that surrounds around this series! EEK! I can’t wait to start their story.

I’ve been on a huge Mature YA/New Adult kick lately. I’m loving all the angst and all the DRAMA! Release by Lucia Franco leaves out no drama. It’s everywhere and I can’t get enough of it. I just finished this book a few days ago and holy hell is it an emotional roller coaster! This is the third book in the Off Balance series and in my opinion its the best of the three. The emotions run even deeper through this one. I loved it. If you aren’t one that likes cliffhangers, I suggest you move on and wait for the last two books to release before diving into this one.

I also plan on reading The Rebel Of Raleigh High by Callie Hart. Okay, let’s be honest here.. I already read two chapters and am completely loving this one too! Instagram made me add this one to my Kindle Unlimited library..

I also added Trouble At Brayshaw High by Meagan Brandy to my kindle unlimited library and yes I also read a couple of chapters in this one too… I’m excited to dive further into this one and see what trouble these bad boys bring.

Kindle Unlimited has seriously saved me! I’m finally going to wrap up my first author backlist challenge of 2019! I have four more novels to read of Jamie Begley’s and then I’ll officially be caught up! Stalked by Jamie Begley is the fourth book in the Predators MC series. To be completely honest, I read this one and didn’t like the beginning so I did a skim through and it wasn’t for me. Then I read Claiming The Enemy by Jamie Begley only to find myself being even more confused. After reading a few reviews I realized that these books coincide with each other. So I plan on doing a true reread of stalked and Claiming The Enemy. I learned a lesson, half assing something isn’t the productive way to get shit done.

T.A. by Jamie Begley is the fifth book in the Biker Bitches series! I can’t wait to get to this one. I love everything about this feisty group of badass women. They always bring trouble and a good time!

Dangerous Love by Jamie Begley is an anthology! and rumor has it there is a Lily and Shade short story in the mix!!! Shade is my number one in this whole damn world Jamie Begley has created! This man is so complex. I can’t wait to dive into this anthology!
