Hollywood Prince is the third book in Natasha Madison’s Hollywood Royalty series. Carter and Erin’s story can be read as a complete standalone. But where’s the fun in that. You’ll miss out on all the juicy tidbits the other two couples in this series bring!
In My Own Words:
Carter is in hot water with the team that manages him, you see this notorious playboy has made a bit of a skeptical where his reputation is concerned. That’s where Erin comes in. Erin is an intern looking to land her dream job in New York, her only task is to turn Carter’s image from notorious playboy into the boy next door.
Easy enough…. Right?
My Thoughts:
I absolutely have adored everything about the Hollywood Royalty series by Natasha Madison. But I have to say, going into Hollywood Prince I assumed this novel would be a huge cliche with many early predictions. Before I started this on I easily saw myself rating it a 3.5 stars…. However, you know what happens when one makes assumptions…. I basically make a total ass of myself.
The vibe from Hollywood Prince was ON POINT! I loved the chemistry between Carter and Erin. They are definitely a couple I don’t see myself forgetting anytime soon.
Carter was a surprise throughout this whole novel. I expected him to be the typical cocky egotistical male lead trying to change his ways for the person he feels he’s meant to be with… Well, he was all those things. But underneath the surface I felt like his arrogance was just a little boy’s cries to be seen and heard. and then we finally get a glimpse of Carter’s childhood and it all clicked into place. This man is using a shield to keep everybody out for fear of getting hurt again.
My heart legit broke for this man.
I felt the first spark during Erin and Carter’s first encounter stepping out of the elevators. I freaking love when an author puts that much chemistry into her character’s that the reader immediately feels it. It legit gave me the chills and I knew this romance was going to be one that wouldn’t easily be forgotten.
But then, Carter had to play the douche roll and….. make assumptions. I expected this little dose of drama, but because of the huge shock factor that I went through during this ‘assumption drama’ I’m willing to let it slide, because holy hell, I did not see that coming Whatsoever!!!!
And speaking of fathers 😉 I do also have to say, I loved the relationship between Erin and her father. She sounds like a true daddy’s girl and I can easily relate to that.
Overall, Hollywood Prince is a new addiction of mine. Natasha Madison has hands down become one of my favorite authors in the past couple of years. The Hollywood Royalty series just goes to show how compelling her stories are and how much i am completely blown away by her ability to grasp my attention from start to finish. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
