HAPPY FRIDAY!
Can you all believe it is the last Friday of 2018?! I seriously am sitting here wondering where this year went… It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the last day of 2017. Now enough with the heavy, let’s get to the reason why you all stopped by.
First Line Fridays is a bookish meme created and hosted by Hoarding Books. The rules are simple, post the first line(s) of the novel you’re currently reading or in my case next up on your TBR. then head on over to Hoarding Books and link up. (also, if you’re a romance reader loving on those ab covers, be sure to write (mature) next to your linky if your post shows mature content.)
Right now I’m reading an advanced copy of The One You Fight For by Roni Loren and because this is an advanced copy I won’t be sharing my first lines from this one. Instead I’ve chosen to share from the novel next up on my tbr….
Beneath This Mask by Meghan March!
Let’s Get Started!

“I stepped off the witness stand feeling like I’d been skinned and gutted, my insides laid out for public viewing. I refused to meet my father’s piercing aqua stare – the same one I was every time I looked in the mirror.”
Beneath This Mask
(Beneath #1)
By: Meghan March
Genre: Military Romance
Publisher: Meghan March LLC
Publication Date: Sept. 4th, 2014
Former Navy fighter pilot. Son of a congressman. Successful businessman in my own right. With a résumé like mine, women have never been a challenge.
Until I met her.
This sexy, tatted-up bad girl wasn’t part of my plans, but that punch to my gut every time I see her tells me I have to know more.
She’s a mystery. An enigma. A challenge.
I’m going to figure her out — and then I’m going to make her mine.
We’ll find out what she’s hiding… beneath this mask.

Meghan March is a newish to me author. So far, I’ve only had the chance to read six of her books from a list of 29. The books I’ve read, I loved, so my goal for 2019 is to complete her entire reading order! Here’s to wishful thinking <3
Feel free to share your first lines in the comments below!
I would love to see what you all are reading ❤
Peace Love and Happy Reading,

Happy Friday and Happy New Year!
My first lines come from Home For Christmas by Holly Chamberlin…..
It was the eleventh of December, a crisp winter day with not a cloud in the sky to threaten rain or snow. Nell King shivered as she came down the stairs from the second floor and into the living room.
Have a great weekend and happy reading!😊🎆💕
Thanks for sharing ❤ I bought a few holiday novels from Harlequin but sadly I didn’t have time to read them this year.
I hope you have a great weekend and a happy new year as well! 🍾❤
