WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday | December 19th, 2018

Hello all! Welcome to another WWW Wednesday post. If you’re new to my blog, WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Each week there are three questions to answer.

 What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you plan on reading next?

With Christmas just around the corner, I haven’t had much time to read anything. What with Christmas shopping, decorating, and getting everything settled it’s hard to pick up a book. But I’m FINALLY done with my Christmas shopping so now I’ll have a bit of extra reading time. I have so many novels on my tbr that I’m so excited about!!! I cannot wait to get to them. So without further ado…….

Let’s get started!

I’m Currently Reading:

I am currently 59 pages into Survival Of The Richest by Skye Warren. I received this book in one of my romance reveal book boxes. I’ve been intrigued since I read the blurb and so far I’m really enjoying Skye Warren’s writing style. I’m excited to dive back into this one and get back to reading!

Survival Of The Richest
By: Skye Warren

Genre: Romance
Publisher: Indie
Publication Date: June 11th, 2018
Format: Paperback | Pages: 341

Blurb:

My story starts with a plunge into the cold water of Massachusetts Bay. A strong hand hauls me back onto the deck of the luxury yacht. Christopher was supposed to be my enemy. Instead he protects me with fierce determination.

That should have been my happily ever after, but then Sutton appeared–ruthless and seductive. He doesn’t care that my heart belongs to someone else, because he’s determined to win. No matter the cost.

It’s an impossible choice, but I can’t have them both.

I Recently Finished:

I just finished reading an advanced copy of Peyton and Noah by Heidi McLaughlin. This was an adorable addition to Peyton and Noah’s story. I do have to say I was expecting a tad bit more in forms of emotions from this novel. I felt some emotional scenes felt a little forced, but putting that all aside, this was a cute novel and one that I’ve been highly anticipating.

Peyton & Noah

Wedding bells are ringing.
And the couple who almost wasn’t,
Is going to be.

Peyton and Noah invite you into their life.
To spend some time with their family.
As they prepare to walk down the aisle.

What I’m Reading Next:

Next up I’ll be reading an advanced copy of Right Where I want you by Jessica Hawkins. I am so excited to dive into a novel written by Jessica Hawkins, especially this one. This sounds so damn intriguing! I can’t wait!

Right Where I Want You

Blurb:

There’s a thin line between love and hate . . . and it cuts right through the middle of their office.

Bad boys? They run right over good girls like Georgina Keller. But after a confidence-shattering breakup, she’s determined not to let anyone at her new workplace push her around—least of all the brooding creative director, a “bad boy of publishing” who’s made it clear she’s enemy #1.

Sebastian Quinn’s taste for fast cars, late nights, and beautiful women may have gotten him to the top of a leading New York magazine, but the reputation that made him is suddenly threatening to end his career.

Georgina can help Modern Man shed its bad reputation, but in order to do that, she’ll have to start at the top—and no amount of rakish charm or inconvenient attraction will distract her.

Because if Sebastian gets her right where he wants her, it means she’s going down.
