SageShe is my best friend’s daughter. I have no right to be looking at her the way I do, but with her snotty attitude I find myself wanting to put her bratty ass into its place. Under me.

Brook is as feisty as she is free. She’s the definition of trouble. Underneath the surface though, this girl has the weight of the world on her shoulders and guilt that’s just as heavy. After an altercation with her father, Brook packed a bag and left her home. On her way out she was told by her dad that if she left, she wasn’t welcome to return. Now years later Brook is working as an exotic dancer and living her life the way she wants to. Until a blast from the past shows up with bad news and forces her ass back home.
Sage is a tough as nails kind of guy who isn’t to be messed with. His mission is to find and retrieve Gin’s daughter before….SPOILER……He knows she’s an exotic dancer but what he doesn’t expect is the desire he feels when he sees her dancing on stage and the want that still lingers.
I can’t tell you anything more….given my spoiler clause and everything.
I really enjoyed Sage and his badass attitude, I loved how he didn’t deal with Brook’s pissy attitude and whatever she threw at him he threw right back. It made for some epic and enjoyable drama between the two. The heat between these two is off the charts and explosive!
It is not required but I highly suggest reading the first three books (Jake’s Silence, Gin’s Longing, and Rico’s Way) before diving into Sage’s Surrender. Trust me when I say, you will be confused and you will miss out on some important background information if the other books go unread. I say this from personal experience. I received the first three books from Enticing Journey Book Promotions to read before jumping into Sage’s Surrender. After realizing I was on a time crunch I decided to jump into Sage’s Surrender after only reading Jake’s Silence. I was crazy confused and literally felt like I missed out on everything that was happening in the beginning. I admit I’m at fault. I should have better strategized my tbr. However, after a few chapters, I started to understand what was going on and then I was good to freaking go! Seriously though, read the first three books.
Overall, I’m really intrigued by this series, I am already planning to go back and reread this series when I have some free time.
Peace Love and Happy Reading,
