“What are you doing now that your team is out of the running for the Stanley Cup?”

Forget.

I need to forget. I need an escape.

Only one person isn’t falling for my reputation as the NHL’s Golden Boy; she captured my attention the minute she called me out for snooping through my best friend’s house. She didn’t want to hear my reason–she only wanted to playfully give me a hard time.

Adalyn is bold, sassy–and the perfect escape.

She’s everywhere. In town and in my dreams, and suddenly I need to spend every waking moment with her.

And I do, making this summer the best off-season I’ve ever had.

But in the midst of getting lost in Adalyn, what I don’t expect is to get her pregnant.

And what I definitely don’t expect is having to fight for her affection.

“So just like that, you’re going to jump in, feet first?”
“Yeah, I’m jumping in. Care to join me?”

Hayden…..Freaking…..Holmes!

I’ve been waiting for Hayden’s book from the start! This man is an anomaly in the romance world. He’s sensitive and traditional but he also has a bit of alpha underneath the surface. From the start, I vibed with Hayden’s sensitivity. It’s not everyday we are given a character who wears his heart on his sleeve.

One Baby Daddy by Meghan Quinn punched me in the heart.

Being a fan of Hayden’s I expected the instant fangirl love, but what I wasn’t expecting was how deep this man truly is. What can I say, Hayden is the ultimate book boyfriend.

Hayden has just lost a chance at the Stanley cup. So he does what any professional hockey player would do. He books it and heads back to the one place he knows he won’t be judged. He heads to his hometown of Binghamton to meet up with his best friend Racer. Adalyn is a fierce, independent woman with a one date reputation. But that’s all about to change when she meets Hayden at Racer’s party. I freaking loved Adalyn, she is the perfect match for Hayden. She’s the crazy to his calm.

Without diving in to deep and giving away spoilers, I have to say, I found it interesting how this novel started. I was curious to see how the ‘Going In Blind’ concept was going to be brought up. It was executed flawlessly. I loved it.

However, I rated this four stars because I felt Adalyn’s character had a personality swap and her wishy-washy attitude towards the end really frustrated me. I get it’s the drama factor that leads up to the oh shit moment, I just wanted these two to finally find their happily ever after. I admit, I was a tad bit impatient. Other than that small issue, One Baby Daddy is a great read with a captivating storyline!

    1. Thanks girl! I was so frustrated because Adalyn started out as one of my favorite characters in this series. I was also waiting for Adalyn’s brothers to come into the picture with their alpha-tudes, I wonder why they didn’t show up during the ending. So many holes in this story. But it was entertaining and I still love Hayden the most ๐Ÿ˜‚
