About BLOOM

The heart-pounding, emotional conclusion to the Evergreen Series from New York Times bestselling author Cassia Leo.

Where flowers bloom, love grows.

With Jack determined to correct his past mistakes, and to help me cope with the news about Junior’s murderer, I find myself hardly able to function, my soul weighed down by renewed grief and crippling guilt.

When I confess my sins to Jack, watching the light in his blue eyes go dim with every word I speak, I know I will not soon be forgiven. Maybe I don’t deserve forgiveness.

When I confess my new predicament to Isaac, I’m met with words of comfort and an apology that leaves me reeling with regret.

I am truly my own worst enemy.

But I refuse to give up. With a renewed sense of purpose, I am determined to weed out my destructive habits and bloom into the person and the mother I was meant to be.

Bloom is the third book in the evergreen trilogy. Dirt and Seed must be read before reading Bloom. This is the final chapter to Jack and Laurel’s angsty relationship.

As you all may know I am a huge lover of angst. The more tears shed while reading, the better. I love when an author has the power to pull emotions out of me that I didn’t even know I could feel. This trilogy tugged at all my heartstrings! I couldn’t get enough of Laurel and Jack’s story, no matter how much anxiety these two have brought to my life.

I couldn’t wait to dive into Bloom for one simple fact. I needed to see these two individuals who have suffered and fought through so much, finally get their happily ever after. Trust me when I say, there were moments where I was worried, while reading Bloom, that Cassia Leo would pull the wool over her readers eyes and give us the complete opposite of what we want.

My main issue with this novel was, it felt rushed. I wanted and needed a tad bit more fight from Laurel and Jack. I wanted to feel the emotions more than what was given. The first two books had me crying and feeling all sorts of anguish. I needed more of that from this novel, especially with the cliffhanger from Seed.

Overall, this was a good ending to a great emotional series.
