Synopsis:
Zack
Finding my teammate in bed with my wife made the decision I had been fighting with for years easier.
It’s time to move on.
A fresh start and a new NHL team in a big city. Most importantly, it’s my son Jack’s best shot.
It would be both of our best shots.
Denise
After a bad childhood, I made sure I would succeed.
The problem is I die a little with each patient I lose. It’s part of my career at Hudson Children’s Oncology Hospital, but it doesn’t make the sting of loss any easier.
Seeking anything other than a life saved isn’t on my agenda until a NHL player walks into my hospital with his son.
We’re officially off script the moment we meet.
If this love is anything, it’s unscripted.

Something So Unscripted seriously just made my day!!!! This book is everything plus so much more.
I love single father romances, this may just be my favorite. Natasha Madison made my heart happy with this heartwarming story.
Something So Unscripted is the journey of one little boy (Jack) and his father (Zack). Zack may just be my favorite of Madison’s leading men. He’s sensitive, emotional, and the best of all, he’s a great father. He will do everything in his power to heal his little boy. Zack’s strength is tested throughout this whole novel. From walking in and catching his wife in bed with his best friend, to his little boy having cancer and rejecting chemo. My heart legit broke for this man. As with every novel involving cancer I’ve learned to prepare for the worse and pray for the best.
Denise is the top oncologist in the country, she also happens to be Max’s little sister. Growing up she’s had a difficult life but she’s never let her past tragedies dictate her life. She’s risen above all and became something of herself. I also loved the strength she showed in her job. it can’t be easy treating sick children. When Denise accepts Jack as a patient, she doesn’t expect to fall hard and fast for this little boy and his father.
Overall, I loved this book! I loved Jack and his ability to put a smile on my face with his cute boyish ways. This little one has strength the size of ten superhero’s put together! I loved Zack and his ability to be the man that his son and Denise need him to be. He’s the epitome of what every single father should be. and I especially loved Denise and her selflessness. She’s a real life angel disguised as a doctor.
I’m so excited to see what Natasha Madison has in store for us next. Every novel is a new addiction!
