I’m getting ready to start an arc of Twisted Locke by Victoria Ashley and Jenika Snow! I have been waiting for this novel!!!! EEK! I can’t wait to officially start it when I finish writing up this post!

I was pulled into the Locke life when my roommate got involved with one of the dangerous brothers.
I should have left, should have minded my own business, but the attraction I feel for Ace is stronger than I can ignore.
I can feel the way he watches me. The ownership I feel from him, the possessiveness and obsession, lets me know he wants me too.
But common sense tells me I don’t want this in my life, don’t want to let a Locke brother mark me as his.
But that reality isn’t what my heart wants, isn’t what my body craves. Truth is I want to have Ace claim me, want his hands on me, his dominance showing me that all I want is to submit.
We may not lead the same lives, and he may have darkness in him, the likes of which I’ve never seen before, but for once in my life I want to skirt with that danger.
I want to forget everything else and just let Ace own every single part of me.
And I have a feeling he won’t stop until he does.
I recently finished Minus by Jack Davenport. I really enjoyed the storyline and how the novel developed, but….I had trouble connecting with the main characters. The chemistry between them felt forced. I rated this novel a 3 star. My review will be posted soon.

I also finished a paperback copy of Drunk Dial by Penelope Ward. This novel was okay…It had its great moments but also had moments that were a bit unrealistic. I also found this novel to be very predictable. I gave Drunk Dial a 3 star rating.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. Look up Landon Roderick, that boy from childhood whom I’d never been able to forget—even though he so easily forgot about me—and call him.
Then again, anything sounds like a good idea when you’ve had a little too much wine before bed, right? It was supposed to be just a quick, meaningless, prank call. Instead, I went off on him—unloading thirteen years of pent-up emotions.
I didn’t think he’d call me back.
I certainly could never have anticipated the weeks of sexually tense phone conversations that followed as I got to know the man he’d become.
Turned out, Landon had never really forgotten me, either. That special connection we had was still there. I opened up to him, but there were also things about me he didn’t know. And he had his own secrets.
Over the countless hours we talked on the phone, I wondered what would happen if we actually saw each other. One night, I did something impulsive again. Only this time, I went to the airport and booked a ticket to California. We were about to find out if one phone call could bring two lost souls together or if my drunk dial really was all just a big mistake.
I also finished an arc of Rock King by Tara Leigh…I was honestly looking forward to reading this novel…I was expecting more ‘ROCK KING’ out of this novel, given the title. I felt something was missing and yet again the story line was very predictable. But even though I knew what was going to happen next I still managed to zoom through the pages and get swept away in this world…I rated Rock King 3.5 stars
