Taming Him is the first book in the brand-new Bishop Brothers series by Kennedy Fox. This book is based on Alex Bishop who is also the youngest Bishop Brother. Alex Bishop is a double threat…southern gentleman by day and dirty talking feisty cowboy by night! My favorite type of cowboy. He treats the ladies with the respect and kindness his mama instilled in him before he gives them the boot. I am SO UNBELIEVABLY excited for the Bishop Brothers series! I love me some yummy cowboys!! Not to mention I can’t wait to see the women put these feisty cowboys in their place.
Alex Bishop is about to embark on a new path in his life….only he doesn’t know it yet!
After his best friend (Dylan) wins a spring break trip for two to Key West, he decides to invite Alex along to be his wingman. Alex is in need of a vacation, being a rancher is not an easy life. With visions of lots of booze and willing women filling his head, how can he not agree to go.

I am a sucker for small town romances, I guess when you grow up in a small town you get accustomed to the lifestyle. This novel took me back in time and honestly, I’m now a little homesick. I miss waking up with the roosters and the responsibilities that come with living on a farm. You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl.
I’m also a sucker for one night stand/spring flings! I loved the whole, getting to know you while already physically knowing you vibe throughout this novel. I loved the fun and sexy feel it brought to this novel.
The only downside that I could find while reading Taming Him was during the second part of the novel, a few of the scenes and the timeline felt rushed.
Overall, I really enjoyed this sweet and sexy southern small town romance. I loved all of the relationships that evolved in this novel. I loved Mama Bishop’s relationships with her boys even though she’s a tough cookie, I loved her mama bear approach. I laughed at the kinship between Alex and Dylan and the hilarious drama that came with Jackson’s smart mouth and womanizing ways. I cannot wait to read Jackson’s story! But I’m eager to get my hands on Evan’s especially after getting a glimpse of the drama he’s tangled in at the end of Taming Him!
Here’s to what will hopefully be a very addictive series and sexy cowboys! Lord knows I can’t forget about the SEXY COWBOYS!
