“If you’re a fan of Kristen Ashley, then you will love this book.” -Aestas Book Blog on Four Letter Word
He didn’t want to be bad. He just didn’t have a choice…
Shayla Perkins isn’t the kind of girl who makes the same mistake twice, especially when it comes to Sean “Stitch” Molina. So when he gives her the world’s biggest rejection, that’s it–she’s done. Until the sexy, silent, unavailable Sean makes Shay a very personal offer. Of course, it still doesn’t mean he’s interested in her. Or does it?
Sean has done things in life. Bad things. And he’s paid the price. All he wants now is to make up for his past by doing good in the present. And no one deserves more good than Shay. Beautiful on the inside and out, Shay is the kind of woman who should be cared for and protected–especially from a man like Sean. He’s tried to keep his feelings for her in check, but a single, reckless impulse pulls them closer than ever before.
Soon the two are sharing their biggest dreams and satisfying their deepest desires. But what will happen if the only way to truly give each other what they want most…is to let each other go?
“The perfect mix of funny, hot and heartwarming. I enjoyed it immensely!” –Mia Sheridan, New York Times bestselling author, on Four Letter Word

I was so thrilled to get a chance to read an arc of Bad For You by J. Daniels. Bad For You is one of my most anticipated reads of 2018 and now has been added to my 2018 favorites list!
Shayla and Sean…..sigh…..there are no words for how much I loved these two individuals. J. Daniels made me fall for a fictional character. It takes a great story for my heart to become full invested in the characters lives. My eyes are still red rimmed from crying, My heart still hurts for all that Sean went through growing up, and there is not a tissue left in this house! Bad For You brings a greater emotional depth to the Dirty Deeds series.
Shayla is a sassy hairstylist who is looking to get her business up and running, she’s also a waitress at whitecaps. If you read the first two books in the dirty deeds series, you may already know Shayla has had a long time crush on Sean aka Stitch.
Sean is the cook at Whitecaps. He’s a broody male with a ‘no f*cks to give’ attitude. But underneath the tough guy exterior, this man is fighting the greatest battle of his life.
Throughout this novel, we get an inside look into Sean’s past and the way he grew up. With an alcoholic for a mother and a father that left them, you can probably make an assumption to how Sean grew up, Neglected and in a loveless household. As the years go by Sean’s self-confidence in himself withers away and he finds himself unworthy of anyones love and affection. My heart legit broke for Sean. I was not expecting his story and background to be this tragic and heart wrenching.
My heart started to heal along with Sean’s as Shayla came into the picture. She’s the strength and the love that he never felt worthy of but always wanted. I loved how Shayla wasn’t about the drama, she was only about helping Sean heal and find his own self-worth. Even when ex’s come back into the picture Shayla was genuine and only wanted what was best for Sean even if that means stepping aside so he can have what he always wanted, his family back.
Sean is a very complex character. there are so many sides to this man. This made the novel that much more intriguing, I loved how Shayla slowly peeled back the layers and under each layer was a different hidden emotion. My heart melted, I was a puddle of goo from the start, a legit goner!
I highly recommend this novel to those that love great emotional love story, complex characters, and a true Happily Ever After!
Peace Love and Happy Reading,
