Holy hell…..I loved the hell out of The Rivalry! Jay and Kayla’s story is hilarious and sexy! I couldn’t get enough!

The Rivalry touches on the UofM/OSU rivalry in this sexy as sin novel. Being a Michigan girl I know all about this Rivalry and the damage it can impact if you are cheering for the wrong team…Here in Michigan you’re either for MSU or UofM but one thing we all have in common…or should I say the majority of us Michigan folks….We all have the same dislike for OSU running in our veins.

Kayla sleeps, eats, and breathes Grey and Scarlet. Growing up she was raised to be a Ohio State University fan (poor girl). Now she is in her senior year of college and the captain of the cheerleading squad. Jay is the starting tight end for the Michigan Wolverines. He’s determined to stay away from distractions this year and focus on grades and football, hoping to be drafted into the NFL.  All bets are off when Kayla and Jay meet at a wedding and a spark ignites between the two. Unknowing, at the time, that each goes to the others rival college. (can you say Drama!)

This novel was a fun read. Kayla is headstrong and borderline obsessive when it comes to OSU football. She believes in the rivalry, while Jay is a little less of a believer. He sees the game first hand on the field so he knows the type of shit that players get away with. This was a fun twist. I expected Jay to be the more competitive one of the two so it was fun to see Kayla outshine Jay in that competitive nature.

Overall, I could not put this book down. I was hooked from the very beginning wanting and needing more.
