I just picked up an arc of The Rivalry by Nikki Sloane! I am only a few chapters in but already I can tell I’m going to love this story! Whoop Whoop I love when a novel gets me excited a few chapters in!

This tight end is at the top of his game.

He’s good with his hands, even better with his sexy mouth, and the best at making me forget my own name. His—ahem—stats are perfect.

But I can’t fall for him.

He might be everything I want, all rolled into a glorious package of gridiron god, but there’s one teeny-tiny problem. The vile, loathsome team I’ve spent my entire life hating—my beloved school’s arch-rival?

This guy is their star player.

My life has been so hectic these past couple weeks, I’ve hardly had any time for reading. Today I picked up an arc of Free Ride by M.N. Forgy and read it in one sitting.  I have to say this book is a hell of a ride! Harley is the princess of the Shadow Keepers MC. She also has a split personality. This is unlike anything I have ever read before. I was completely captivated by this story line. HOOK LINE AND FREAKIN’ SINKER! M.N. Forgy knocked this one right out of the F*cking ball park! Free Ride is now available.

I’m crazy, deranged, and psychotic. I’m out of my mind and my life isn’t even mine half the time. Having Dissociative Identity Disorder, it’s an accurate assumption.
Born an MC brat, my only dream is to wear the colors of my father’s club, The Shadow Keepers. To feel the weight of the warm leather press across my back, and to be a part of something with purpose.

It wasn’t until the last drop of blood dripped from my fingertips and the gun smoke faded into the night sky that I realized what was really important to me.
Him.
In a blink of an eye, I lost it all. I lost him.

There’s no such thing as a Free Ride in life, and our story is an example of that.

I also finished El Santo by M. Robinson. warning, this novel ends on a slight cliffhanger. I really enjoyed reading about how Damien became the man he is today. El Santo is told from the past. This is Damien’s life as a soldier in Cuba. Not only is this Damien’s story though, this is also Amira’s story and how the man who caused her to lose everything precious to her in one night, turned out to also be the man that saved her that very same night. It was an interesting story, definitely not what I was expecting but well worth the read. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

I didn’t know darkness and evil lurked inside me until I had to murder in order to survive. Forced to become my own worst enemy. With so much blood on my hands, I was surprised I could still see my own skin.
I killed.
I tortured.
I loved…
I played God while I was rotting in Hell. Thriving on control and power was the only way I knew how to live. There were no other options.
If you weren’t my friend, you were my foe.
If you weren’t with me, you were against me.
Traitors, as I called them. There were no imaginary lines. I’d crossed them all. No boundaries. No second chances. No redemption.
Not for me.
For them.
For anyone.
Only for her…
She loved me. Always convinced I was a saint, never believing I was just another sinner.
A fucking monster.

Until it was too late.

Except, I didn’t choose this life. It. Chose. Me.

hmm….that’s a good question. I’ll probably start The Meltdown series by RB Hilliard. I was given the first two books to read for review and the third book is soon to come out at the end of the month! I love rockstar romances so this series seems like it’s right in my ball park! We Shall see!

Fractured Beat (Meltdown #1)

Fractured Beat
(Meltdown #1)

by: RB Hilliard

When Grant Hardy, Meltdown’s lead singer, falls off the stage in the middle of a concert while under the influence, his record label has no choice but to step in and take control.

The solution is simple.

Send Grant to rehab and avoid a public relations nightmare by covering it up as a bad case of the flu.

When the rehab facility’s recommendation for extended treatment starts to affect the label’s bottom line, they are forced to find an alternative solution – hire an in-house counselor for the duration of the tour.

There’s just one problem.

Grant Hardy isn’t an addict.
