I am not a victim.
At least that’s what I wanted to believe. What I wanted the
world to see. Five years of trying to find the girl I hid from the world.
I wouldn’t let the bullies win. I couldn’t.
What was I supposed to do when he walked
into the building? He’d made my high school years a living hell.
But, he doesn’t recognize me.
How do I prove he didn’t break me? Simple, take him home for
a one-night stand.
At least it sounded like a good idea at the time.

I am in complete awe of Mari and Cole’s story! holy shit that was a hell of a ride!

Rock Me is the first novel in the jaded ivory series. This series is based on a rock band with the leading lady Mari staring.

Mari is on the edge of having all of her dreams come true. What started as filling in for a night turned I to het becoming the lead singer of the band! Mari had overcome all of her fears and obstacles that threatened to hold her back. After being horribly bullied in high school she reinvents herself and creates a brand new rock goddess persona with the help from her best friend Sawyer.
that is until she gets a blast from the past and Cole (one of the bullies) walks back unknowingly into her life.

Mari and Cole’s story was painful to read at times. I an so glad Cole had a chance to redeem himself.

I loved the strength that Mari showed. Given her and Cole’s horrible history I was glad to see that she didn’t let him off easily for his past mistakes. I was also glad to see the changes in Cole.

This was a great novel.

I cannot wait to continue with the Jaded Ivory series!

Peace Love and Happy Reading,
