Synopsis:

Katerina Dawson knows exactly what she wants from life. And as the new associate at the top law firm in the city, she’s ready to live out her dreams of becoming a criminal lawyer. But going on coffee runs and babysitting kids during the day was definitely not what she had in mind. She knows that anyone else would kill to be in her shoes, but she has to draw the line somewhere. That’s easier said than done, though, when Kat has to confront her handsome boss…

Tristan Channing and Jaxon Bentley run a successful law firm together and the two partners couldn’t be busier right now. When Jaxon suddenly takes a leave of absence, Tristan begrudgingly assumes responsibility of the new associate, the hot new associate, who has curves for days. Needing to keep his distance from her, Tristan sends Kat on needless errands and has her doing work even an intern wouldn’t touch, like picking up his kids. But his plan backfires when he sees his children grow attached to Kat and sees her getting comfortable in his home. It triggers something deep within him, and it feels right to have her there. Will Tristan be able to keep his work and personal lives separate, or will he find that his heart holds the final verdict?

It’s no hidden mystery that Chantal Fernando is one of my favorite authors. So when a Publisher contacted me asking if I would like to read her newest novel there was no hesitation what so ever!

Being completely honest, I love office romances and the hilarious banter that they usually bring to the table, however, when it comes to attorneys, I’m usually turned off and find it hard to sink into the plot.

Breaching The Contract changed my views on this trope. I was invested in this novel and completely consumed by Kat and Tristan’s lives! I loved the chemistry these two characters had and the slow build of their romance.

Kat is a ‘new to the scene’ attorney. After graduating at the top of her class and getting a job at a prestigious law firm, she is happy to find this is the perfect job for her. She’s working on real life cases and getting praised for her work ethic. That is until her boss Jaxson has to take time off for a family emergency leaving Tristan in charge of his cases.

Kat is about to learn that working for Tristan is way different from working for Jaxson. Especially when his first request is to bring him his coffee and pick his kids up from school.

Yes ladies, that is right Breaching The Contract should be labeled with a HOT SINGLE DAD WARNING!

I loved Tristan’s kids! Laura and Logan added a new aspect to this novel. It not only has crazy sexual tension but now an endearing familial feel. It was fun to see Kat interact with Tristan’s kids, given the fact that she really has never been around children before and to see Laura and Logan connect with Kat pulled at the heartstrings!

ALL The FEELS!!

Overall, I really loved this novel. It was everything I have come to expect from a novel written by Chantal Fernando. The only issue I could find was the fact that I wish it was longer and the ending seemed a bit rushed. I need more of Tristan, Kat, Logan, and Laura in my life!
