L.J. Shen completely blew my mind with Dean and Rosie’s story!

Rosie knew at a young age that she was going to die young. She knew that eventually her body would succumb to the disease cystic fibrosis. So in her frame of mind she cuts strings before attachments happen. However eleven years ago a man burrowed his way into her heart and she hasn’t been able to get over it like she should because that man is none other than her sisters ex-boyfriend Dean.

Dean has always viewed Rosie as ‘the one that got away’ and ‘Untouchable’ because of his past with her sister. But now that they are both single he’s decided to make Rosie his for good. Even if that means enduring the inevitable heartbreak that is sure to come.

Rosie is the perfect match for Dean. Sarcastic with a comeback to every one of his perverse remarks. I was really interested in how Shen would spin this because of the simple fact that Dean was so hung up on Emilia (Rosie’s Older Sister) when they were in high school.

I wasn’t expecting this story line to be so twisty and FLIPPING EMOTIONAL!!! I LOVED IT! 

Around ever corner there was that inevitable truth that came with Rosie’s Cystic Fibrosis. Where Rosie had her secrets about her health condition, Dean also had his secrets about a mysterious woman named Nina!

Ruckus was everything I was hoping it would be and more! I can’t wait to read more from L.J. Shen in the future!
