Synopsis:
Jude
I faked my way long enough by keeping my mouth shut, painting a fake smile on my face and focusing hard on my job.
I quit going out to find that random piece of ass.
Not a one of them would stand up to her anyway.
She hates me, loathes me even.
Little does Vivian Shepard know I’ve got more tricks up my sleeve than she will ever begin to imagine to get her to change her mind, to get my chance.
I’m not giving up.
I want her, and by God, I’ll fight as dirty as I can get to have her.
No matter what!
Vivian
Of course, I knew it was a one- night stand.
It’s was the perfect night before all hell broke loose to be quite honest.
Drinking, talking and flirting.
One I relished in as I tried to gravitate my mind back to solid ground after soaring so high I could feel the rush of flying.
My stomach dipped, my heart fluttered, and my toes curled inward and then I splattered to the hard surface of the ground.
Jude Westbrooke opened his big fat mouth.
He ruined it, ruined me, ruined it all

My Review:
Ever since reading Riddick i have been curious about Jude and Vivian’s relationship. I was excited when i found out Jude’s story was going to be next!
Jude and Vivian’s relationship starts off where Riddick ends. Vivian is in the hospital after getting shot trying to save Cora. Jude is living with regrets and guilt concerning the way he left things with Vivian after their night of passion. Knowing Vivian doesn’t want to see him, he sneaks into her hospital room at night to watch over her.
Vivian decides the only way she can fully recuperate is to leave, so her parents set it up for her to stay with family friend’s in Alaska. There, she will endure physical therapy on her shoulder and go through the process of mending her broken heart. So without telling Jude, she leaves.
six months later, Vivian is back and Jude has a plan to win her back, but Vivian has other plans to keep him at a distance.
I loved Jude’s brass ball attitude when it comes to sticking his ground and making Vivian realize what they could have is once in a lifetime. He’s so assertive, i loved it, especially because Jude is a computer nerd so you wouldn’t picture that style of man having that type of vibe.
I would have loved to see a little more sass from Vivian. She was so feisty in Riddick, but in this novel her character fell a little short to me. Don’t get me wrong i still loved her, but i wanted to see more of the sass.
Overall, I really enjoyed this novel, I loved the chemistry between Jude and Vivian, i loved the fact that we got a glimpse of where Riddick and Cora are now, and i can’t wait for the next novel which is Tyson and Lynne’s story! EEEK I’m very curious by what the big mystery surrounding their ‘relationship’ is! I need answers!

Peace Love and Happy Reading,
