What are you currently reading?
I started Walk Through Fire by Kristen Ashley. I’m only a couple of chapters in but so far so good 🙂
I just received an ARC of A Thousand Letters by Staci Hart. I just read the first page of the first chapter and I’m already wanting more!
What did you recently finish reading?
I read and finished four books and one novella since my last WWW Wednesday post.
The first book I finished was an ARC of Pieces of Heaven by Natasha Madison. I rated this 4 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed this second installment to the Hell and Back series. This novel basically revolves around the same time Hell and Back revolves around only this is Mick and Marissa’s POV.
The second novel I finished was an ARC of Becoming Mrs. Lockwood by K.I. Lynn. I rated this 4 out of 5 stars. I loved this novel the only issue I have, is the fact that it was a little to far-fetched for me. I had to drop a star. I loved the fact that this novel was so addicting. I could not put this book down.
The third book I finished was an ARC of Lovesick by T.L. Smith. I rated this novel 3 out of 5 stars. I really wanted to love this novel and in some instances I did. But i found it was almost a roller coaster for me. I was really interested in the beginning and then it went downhill and i quickly lost interest then my attention was grabbed again. It went on like this a couple of times and i was so emotionally frustrated by that fact that i couldn’t enjoy it.
The Fourth book I finished was an Ebook of CLUBWHORE by Kim Jones. I realized in my last WWW post I stated that Kim Jones was a new to me author, however, looking back in my goodreads list i realized she is not a new to me author. I read the Saving Dallas series and i loved it. That excited me when i jumped into reading Clubwhore. I really enjoyed this novel. It was crazy intense, i rated this novel 4 out of 5 stars. This was something totally different from what I’m used to reading when it comes to the MC Romance genre. There’s some crazy sh*t in this novel. I rated this 4 stars because even though I really enjoyed this novel, i had a little trouble keeping interest in the first quarter of the book. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m not used to the writing style i haven’t the slightest clue. I thought about putting the book down and starting another so many times but i’m glad I stuck with it and continued on!
I also just finished The Devil by Kim Jones. This is book 1.5 (a short story) In the Devil’s Renegade Series. I never knew so much heat could be in such a tiny novella. I am dying to read Devil’s Love (Book 3).
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m going to stick with my TBR Jar pick and read the next two novel’s in the Devil’s Renegade Series by Kim Jones.
Patchwhore by Kim Jones is book 2 in the Devil’s Renegade series.
I’m also wanting to start Outlander by Diana Gabaldon! I’m so freaking excited to start this series.
