Molly McLain is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I loved Bend!!!!
Bend was a quick read that flowed effortlessly. I was intrigued from the first page all the way through. I loved not only the Enemies to Lovers vibe but also a hint of a forbidden romance that took place.
First we have Trent Clark also known as Mr. Hardass. Trent is a patrol cop that is slowly trying to make his way up into detective work. Trent also has a very dark past which causes him to keep his heart locked up tight.
Then we have Kinsey Malloy also known as Princess. Kinsey is the daughter of the captain of the police department. Kinsey is the manager of a lingerie store.
When Kinsey finds there is a panty thief on her hands she contacts the authorities and none other than Mr. Hardass gets put on her case.
Holy Hell, this book shocked me at how freaking hot it was. The sexy time scenes were crazy good. I was also shocked to see the alpha male Trent turns out to be beneath the sheets..or in the bathroom of a dive bar! When I began reading Bend, i loved the back and forth arguing between Trent and Kinsey. You could definitely feel the dislike each had for the other. but hidden between the lines i also sensed some major sexual tension.

She opens her mouth to respond, but the crack of my hand across her ass turns her response into a gasp…and then a wicked little smile
All of the characters in Bend caught my attention immediately…even the secondary characters like Will and Dez.
I can’t wait to continue on with this series!!!
