synopsis:
The Wind Dragons MC couple who started it all is back! We met the stars of Chantal Fernando’s bestselling series in Dragon’s Lair, and now Sin and Faye are ready for more—and with these two, that means more passion, more action, and more of the best kind of trouble.
Sin, president of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club, doesn’t mind that things have quieted down since he got married—with Faye at his side, he’ll never be bored. Plus, they’ve got their little girl Clover to keep them on their toes. But when new MC brother Talon needs help rooting out a traitor in his old club, Faye’s the first to volunteer. She’s more determined than ever to get involved and put her law degree to good use, but Sin soon finds himself riding to the rescue. Because he’ll kill anybody who touches a hair on Faye’s head—if she doesn’t get to them first. One way or another, tonight’s going to be someone’s last ride….

My thoughts:
Last Ride is a novella from the wind Dragons MC Series. We get another look at Sin and Faye’s life in this novella.
My responsibility as a reviewer is to be completely honest when reviewing a novel. That means I base my opinions on the novel in front of me. Not the previous novels in the series or how much I love an author’s work. A book review is based solely on that one particular book. With that being said, it saddens me to say Last Ride was just okay. Halfway through I was bored, which is the complete opposite to when I read the previous books in the series.
I went into Last Ride thrilled to get another glimpse at Faye and Sin’s life, not to mention the drama the blurb promised. I was ready. At the beginning of reading I thought this story was not needed. HOWEVER, my attention was finally grabbed during the epilogue and it finally occurred to me why this novella was in fact, needed. I also felt like everything was rushed.
Taking the honesty route, I want to add that I wish the “epilogue” would have been the story in the novella. That would have made it more interesting.
In light of the situation though, I cannot wait to read Crossroads!!! I’ve been intrigued by Ranger for the longest time! I’m excited to figure him out!

Peace Love and Happy Reading,
