My Thoughts.
Having only read one book by M. Never (Moto) and loving it, I decided to take my chances and try another from this author. When I say take my chances I mean the fact that this is book #5 in a series that I have never read before. The good thing is Elicit can be read as a standalone but in doing so be prepared to hear about characters that were in the previous novels. My recommendation is if you have the opportunity to read the books in order then definitely do so. I feel you’ll get more from Jett and London’s story in doing so ๐
This is the Jett and Londonโs story and this is a crazy as hell ride.
I Loved Jett and London. They are a dynamic duo when put together. I loved how Jett cared for his girls. The sexy time scenes where overwhelmingly hot. I can see how this series can be extremely addicting. I loved the connection London and Jett shared from the beginning. But I would have loved to see Jett become more alpha male type when it came to London.
Iโm definitely going to go back and read the novels in order. Iโm really intrigued by Kayne and Ellie. Iโm curious to know what their story is. Looks like I have a marathon read in the near future!
Now is the part where I put my little warning out there..And that warning is a trigger warning. Iโm not going to go into detail but this novel has a glimpse of several things that could be a form of trigger like situations for a few people as there is with mostly all of the dark romance novels that are published these days. This novel does touch on the situation of rape. If that is a trigger for you I also recommend you go into this novel with eyes wide open and prepared.
