I really enjoyed reading Off Limits. This is a first time read from Lola Darling for me and i wasn’t disappointed at all in fact i loved Off Limits. I’ll be looking to pick up more Lola Darling novels in the future.Her story telling/writing is similiar to Vi Keelands

Max Davis is a big time flirt with a man whore’s reputation
Chloe MacIntyre is a shark in the courtroom and the woman Max Davis is lusting after.
But Chloe has a hatred for Max and his Man whore reputation.
Chloe and Max get partnered up on a case.
During a weekend retreat to the exercise instructors house things between Max and Chloe get hot and heavy.
Let’s just say it involves a naked Max in the bathroom and Chloe walking in on him!
But that causes things to get awkward really fast

“To rubbing it in,” Chloe declares with a faint smirk. I lift both of my eyebrows as I tap my glass to hers. “I thought we weren’t talking about that.” “We are definitely not talking about it,” she says, her cheeks still bright red. “Ever.” I lift my glass once more, and she taps hers to mine this time, a second toast. “Well, then. Here’s to dirty little secrets,” I say, gaze still locked on hers.

The chemistry between Max and Chloe is igniting.
The sexual tension was stifling.
I loved the fact that it was a slow burn throughout the novel and then BOOM it was like an explosion (or if i’m being cliche) it was like fireworks going off.
I felt the need to take a cold shower after reading the sexy time scenes in this novel. They were scorching.
Max definitely showed a dominate side that had me swooning!
Which worked well for Chloe because she needed someone to control at least one aspect in her life for her.

I love feeling trapped by him. Taken over. Giving up control, for once in my life

Off Limits was very low on angst which was exactly what i was looking for.
It had one semi-angsty scene but i knew in my head what the outcome was going to be for Max and Chloe.
But then i was shaken up when the health issues Paul (Chloe’s mentor/boss) was facing.
I loved the way Chloe broke down and showed emotion. That made me love Off Limits even more.

That’s all i can really say. I loved Chloe and Max, Loved the HEA, and i loved Lola Darlings writing!!

I recommend this novel to anyone looking for an addicting contemporary romance because that is what Off Limits was…HIGHLY ADDICTING!
