What did i just read? (i mean that in a good way)
I found this novel as i was looking through blog posts one day. I saw a book review for Gas or Ass.
I was instantly intrigued after reading the blurb on goodreads.
Gas or ass centers around a seventeen (almost eighteen year old girl) Shelby. After Shelby’s mother bombards her with a huge announcement that she is married. Shelby is forced to move in with her mom’s new husband and her two new stepbrothers.
As i stated in a previous book review, i don’t really care for ‘Stepbrother’ romance novel themes. however maybe i’m starting to like them a little more; after all this is the second “Step-brother” book i read this month not to mention the fact that i flew through it.
Also there is drag racing in this novel and i love romance novels that involve racing of any sort.
 Now its time for honest review time.
Not going to lie the calling each other brother and little sister in certain scenes creep’d me out a little…Okay…a lot.
BUT
There was a reason for the Brother and Sister talk that you will find out towards the end!!
The scenes in the first half…Wait no…The ENTIRE first half of the book was filled with scorching sexy time scenes and you all should know by now how i feel about sexy time in novels 😉
The hook line and sinker was the second half of the book.
That was the O…M…G… holy cheezits. what did i just read part.
I literally can’t process right now.
all i keep thinking about is how much of a douche canoe Colt is. I’ve never felt so much rage towards a fictional character in my entire reading experience.
And trust me i have read a ton of novels in my twenty eight years.
Gas or Ass was different from any other novel i read. Most of the books i read have…Happily Ever Afters. This one however did not.
Thank the lord for sequels.
I’m literally in shock though. This novel left me speechless with my mouth hanging wide open like what the hello seriously.
Eden Connor is a new author read for me.
I love how Eden Connor had the ability to shock me. I honestly thought i had this novel all mapped out…Nope…i was wrong!
That is my favorite thing about certain authors.
The gift of surprise.
If you’re looking for a scorching Step-Brother x2 novel filled with Sexy time, Drag Racing, and crazy betrayal along with nasty scheming; Gas or Ass by Eden Connor is the book for you 🙂
I didn’t go into much detail about the book itself because this is a book that is very easy to give the ending away and trust me you don’t want to be spoiled!
