Blurb:

My name is Thomas and I’m always hard.
No really, that’s my last name. Thomas Hard, the pleasure is all mine … literally.
I can’t help it that my name suits me well.
You know what else suits me well? That girl sitting across the bar, with her lips right where I tell them to be. I want her, and when I want something, it’s gonna be mine.
One night. No names. No phone numbers. Just me, her, and pure pleasure.
Except, that one girl turns out to be the biggest mistake of my life.
Why?
Because I broke my cardinal rule …
Never b*ng a student.

My Review

This is a first time read for me by Clarissa Wild.

I admit i was intrigued by this book when i read the blurb even though i don’t really care for student/teacher novels. And if i’m being honest…the cover drew me in like a fly to a light.

But with that being said.

I didn’t really care for this book. I did manage to read it the whole way through. The ending made it so i raised my rating from two stars to three.

Bad Teacher did have some pretty steamy scenes in it…. Oh wait the whole book was a steamy scene.

In a way i really dislike when authors put a lot of sex in novels. I think instead of adding something to the novel it does the complete opposite and takes a lot away.

Thomas Hard was an emotionless prick right up until the end and by that point it was to late to bring me over to his side. I felt for him though when he broke down and told Hailey why he is the way he is and the traumatic truth of his life came out.

Now on to the things i enjoyed and what made this novel a 3 star novel for me.

First as i mentioned above we have steamy sexy time scenes. Clarissa Wild sure knows how to spice up the pages.

Second I loved Hailey and Lesley’s friendship. I looked forward to those scenes the most. They definitely get put in the wild child category.

Third I really enjoyed the ending when everything came out in the open. I could actually feel the emotion the author was trying to bring to life. But the emotion came a little to late for me 🙁
