First i’m going to acknowledge the fact that i’m so incredibly happy i waited until the second book came out before i even tried reading this book.

I had read reviews and every one stated it ended with a cliffhanger! so i put this book on the back burner!

I found this book to be enjoyable. I’ve read Kim Karr’s Connection series and loved it so i thought why not give her another shot.

When i read the synopsis i was excited but a little skeptic of the fact that this book takes place in…..DETROIT MICHIGAN!! Being a Michigan girl it’s always fun to find a book that takes place in the state that i call home. But that can have drawbacks to if the writer doesn’t do there research on the state and towns their talking about.

Kim Karr did an amazing job.

Every Character in this book had me intrigued.

I loved Charlotte and Jasper’s relationship! I admit Jasper had me swooning and may actually be my number 1 book boyfriend today.

I don’t normally read mysteries and i wasn’t aware this book was a mystery when i started it but let me tell you what this book is a serious page turner. The worst part though was the freaking cliff hanger at the end. I was left say WTF!!

Now i’m going to go read the second book ‘Turn it Up’!!
