Blurb:

As an Olympic rookie, Andie Foster has spent far more time in her cleats than between the sheets. For 21 years, her Friday nights have consisted of blocking shots rather than taking them. But now that she’s landed in Rio, she’s ready to see for herself if the rumors about the Olympic Village are true:

• The athletes are all sex-crazed maniacs…
• The committee passes out condoms like candy…
• The games continue long after the medals have been handed out…

As Andie walks the line between rumor and reality, she’s forced into the path of Frederick Archibald, a decorated Olympic swimmer and owner of a sexy British accent–too bad he’s unavailable in a way that “it’s complicated” doesn’t even begin to explain. In other words: off limits. It doesn’t matter that he has abs that could bring peace to the Middle East and a smile that makes even the Queen blush; Andie fully intends on keeping her focus on the soccer field. But the Village is small. Suffocating. Everywhere Andie goes, Freddie happens to be there–shirtless, wet from the pool, and determined to show her a whole new meaning of the phrase “international affairs”.

My Review

I have a love/hate relationship when it comes to Settling the Score.

I LOVED

Andie (who doesn’t love a sarcastic kick ass goalie with a wicked sense of humor.
Freddy…SWOON…Who doesn’t love the idea of british royalty competing in the olympics. 🙂
Kinsley and Becca. (I was so excited when Kinsley’s name first popped up in this novel. I loved Kinsley and Liam’s story in ‘Scoring Wilder’.)

The Friendship aspect. (Usually in novels like these when we get to the climax of the story the friends abandon the H in her time off need. NOPE. Not this one. Becca and Kinsley stuck right by Andie’s side through it all Unlike her bitch soccer team.

My Favorite Character wasn’t actually a main character. in a way she was the least shown character in the book but she was my FAVORITE. and that would be…..GEORGIE….I LOVE FREDDIE’S SARCASTIC SISTER.

Everything about the story line drew me in. i thought R.S. Grey did an awesome job when it comes to this novel. (To me) her writing and executing the big points in this novel were right on point.

I HATED. (I’ll give you two guesses and the first guess doesn’t count)

CAROLINE….I hated this (BEEEEP) with a passion. Now i won’t go into detail on why i hated her because that would be a spoiler and nobody likes to be spoiled so i’ll just end it like that.

My overall experience reading this book was amazing. i love R.S. Grey’s writing and her ability to always draw me in. I recommend this book to anyone who loves Sporty new adult books with a little drama in the mix. 🙂
